  3. Victor Muffat-Jeandet broke his right ankle The team is furious about todays race
  4. Yes or Three Kings like it is officially named in SVK (Traja Králi) However it was not a national holiday in the past, but was reinstated to fit the christmas celebration of our orthodox community (Rusyns or more famous abroad under the name Ruthenians)which are the majority of population in the north-east part of our country. now this day is among people rather colloquially called as "russyns christmas"

  6. Finally some sign of life from the Czechs. Great qualification jump from Koudelka
  7. Youre welcome. That is really interesting. Our Rusyn community is celebrating today as their main day with the dinner etc.. It is even a Naional holiday in Slovakia today
  8. Never saw organizers working so hard on TV like today in Zagreb
  9. This is weird. Is it because of local measures ?
  10. looks like a DSQ for Zubo here
  11. Interesting look at the number of stages different resorts hosted IBU official competitions in the last 6 seasons. Osrblie doing everything to receive that World Cup invitation even by saving IBU by replacing other resorts at the last moments...but it still not enough. Last time Osrblie hosted World Cup was in 2003. Last World Championship Osrblie hosted was in 1997
  12. Not entirely sure but should be Maliszewska I guess
  13. Are not there another race tomorrow ?
  14. Yes, but if there several documents they have to examine, how they can be so sure they belong to the same person if there not a name on them, this is just absurd when you thinnk about it. Obvioulsy I am not a doctor so I may be wrong, it just seems illogical for me.
  15. How they can not know the name of the person they are examining, if they investigate his medical records, isn't there a name on the document ? then it can be also for example mine medical document they examinated I heard a lot of BS in my life, but that one from the ozzies medical investigating comissions is one of the Tops of the list
  16. That must be one of the smallest flag I witnessed in my life https://www.ibsf.org/en/component/events/event/501846
  17. I am trying, trust me I am trying, it is just so hard Slovakia is a country with endless well of disappointments when it come to sports. Again trust me, I know what I am talking about we are so used to disappointements that we rather always expect the worse. You know it is always better to be pleasantly surprised than sorrowfully disappointed. that is called optimistic realistic pessimism 1 medal would be already huge, a Gold would be prodigious, 2 medals would be just exceptional, 3 would be just ... well, non-slovak
  18. and here are the newest predictions. Now it is reaching really to the sci-fi spheres they for the first time in their predictions predict also a gold for Slovakia. 1-1-1, All 3 medals are apparently predicted to be won by Vlhová (the silver and bronze not being specified in which events, gold in Slalom), ehm.... Well, maybe better to take a big breath and caaaaaalmly return a bit on earth haha, any medal for us would be something huge and so unusual, Remember at the last 2 WOG Slovakia won in total 4 medals and ALL OF THEM were won only by Nastya Kuzmina. Slovakia since the independence won only 8 WOG medals (6 by Kuzmina) and only 1 of them was not from biathlon, the legendary Bradburyesque Torino 2006 Rado Židek silver So just let the thing doing naturally its way. Making enormous pressures etc never helped to anyone. Petra herself know what she want, all her season (maybe carrers) goals aimed for this February. As she keep repeating to the medias again and again all the team worked so extremely hard and now they have just to hope and pray to avoid Covid and injuries, she has just to stay calm, focused on her work and skiing and that dreamed medal for Slovakia can become a reality if she manages to do it, then I am convinced that one day she will be elected the president of the country lol
  19. I would not want to work at the Australian embassy in Belgrade now.
