  1. interesting strategy for development. I did not know about it. So, let see how it ends, in each case, it is hard to imagine, we could have a representative in this and none in sprint canoeing lol Thanks
  2. Ok, guys, question from a complete ignoramus in the topic. I just read on our NOC website an article about our sailor (yes, yes, Slovakia. I swear) the guy is apparently competing here and there in the U21 category in the new IQ-Foil thing or however it is written correctly... The question is, the NOC is trying in that mentioned article to convince me the guy has some realistic chances to qualify for Paris (well, Marseille to be precise), surely not by direct quota since at the last U21 worlds he finished 16th.. so yeah, no chance... but, apparently, via a sort of universality "development program of world yachting" thing in which he is apparently leading the ranking... Is this even possible ? I mean we are definitely not a Universality nation country.. even if we are slowly heading to it lately (but that is another story...)... so there must be a mistake in the NOC site right ? RIGHT ? the article in slovak https://www.olympic.sk/clanok/ms-u21-iqfoil-2023-kubin

  5. Yeah, the only certain deadline is next year´s March for Ice Hockey. IIHF already made it clear it will be the final deadline for them regardless of IOC approach to the topic, March is the final possible timeframe, when the organization will have to decide whether RUS and BLR will take part to the Milano/Cortina Ice Hockey tournament/Qualifiers. This is also the date literally every Slovak has marked in their calendars, since the final decision will affect our position of direct qualifier or Qualifying Tournament participant
  6. Nela Lopušanová after 8 days in America played her very first prep game in with her new Bishop Kearney Select last night in Pittsburgh. She scored 4 goals and added 1 Assist Slovakia was relegated this year to Div I B because IIHF refused to let her play, arguing she is too young and blah blah blah, but still continue to use her as the new women hockey future chosen-one poster girl, the girl which will change women hockey etc.. etc... Fuck you IIHF, great promotional work, did not allow her to qualify the nation to the Elite (because, yeah, you can say whatever you want, if Nela was in China last week, she would be the MVP and we would be already in the Top division ! but, now instead of this the first time the world will can see an eventual Nela vs the best is atbest in 3 years
  7. Really weird weather lately. At same time Prague barely 14 and cold, here 34 and unsupportable heat (both cities are yeah let say a good hour by plane...)

  13. 3 in top 6. Impressive. well done India. Congrats and for the other medals.
  14. Heading for a shared gold in HJ. McDermott and Mahuchikh
  15. Happy for Hodgkinson, the only to wear normal women athletics suit and not this one-piece bathing suit
  16. Europe with 2 medals in M 5000 after 40 years. It happened only once at the inaugural worlds in 1983, probably was as boring race as tonight
  17. ah, that´s a shame Nevermind enjoy the match
  18. So if I assume correctly you´ll have a couple of cameos live in our TV. Now, that is a reason to watch this match
  19. High Jump final in my screen while listening the clash in headphones, The ice age is coming, the sun's zooming in Meltdown expected, the wheat is growing thin Engines stop running, but I have no fear 'Cause London is drowning, and I live by the river Life is still fine if you don´t take it too seriously after all I guess
  20. Good luck. However, I still do not think you´ll need it though, volleyball in BUL and SVK are two completelly different worlds, for us it means basically nothing, for you much, so I hope you´ll win.
  21. Ah ok. Yes, probably. Glad it was just this.
  22. The oldest living Olympian (also the oldest living Olympic medalist) and ((also the oldest living Olympic champion)) Ján Zachara is today celebrating his 95th anniversary. Happy Birthday Mr. Zachara a very rare picture released in our NOC website capturing Zachara on the highest march of the podium in Helsinki 1952 Photo: Archive of SOŠM and even rarest footage
