  4. even 12 is much... In Slovakia none understand why they did it, and we are not alone...C2 is the best possible canoe slalom event, just the most entertaining, watching the ability of both paddlers in one canoe, fighting against the wild water and the task of synchronization when they pass the gates is something special and extremely difficult the C2 races are abolutely awesome...but well, what can we do ICF and IOC decided how they decided...

  10. Magda at least 1 game is secured
  11. here are the explanations about IIHF world ranking. http://www.iihf.com/home-of-hockey/championships/world-ranking/ in fact they use the last 4 world championships + last olympics. they count 25% of points of 2013 WCh, 50% of points of 2014 WCH, 75% of points of 2015 WCH and 100% of points of 2016 WCh + 100% of olympics Sochi 2014 tournament. so thats why Russia is still ahead.
  12. no the quota will be used by one of our 2 specialsts, it´s also explained in the slovakian article that the quota will go for one of Michal Lami or Martin Haring. but we asked UCI for a special wild card for Peter Sagan to compete also in MTB. this has nothing to do with our quota.
  13. Abakumova isn´t a surprise at all, I´m pretty sure everyone knew it.
  14. because womens C1 is just unwatchable. sorry, but this is just the biggest error of ICF and IOC to insert this event in Tokyo instead of C2.
  15. Groups for World Championships 2017 named. and it´s absolutely the oposite of which everyone (including me) expected Group A (Cologne, GER) Group B (Paris, FRA) top 4 of each group will qualify for Quarterfinals. Last team of each group will be relegated to Division I A 2018. (Denmark is automatically saved and can´t be relagated, as host of 2018 world championships) which means if Denmark finish 8th of their group, the 7th team of the group A will be relagated.
  16. why? it´s just for fun, he is not going for medal, only to compete and have some fun at olympics
  17. yes, we have 1 quota but it will be used by our cross-country specialist. the well I don´t know how to translate it correctly "wild card" is for a athelet already qualified in another cycling section. it means just use the athlete qualified in road race also in MTB. anyway we have to wait for the UCI decision.
  18. unfortunately the Kližan´s injury is much more serious than expected. this was his first match since march, he started trainings last week only with some 20-30 minutes per day and he just tried to play today because its Roland Garros, but unfortunately he just couldn´t even finish this match...pitty, he started this season in so promising way.. also game over for Schmiedlová - expected, Hantuchová - expected. In other hand Andrej Martin with first ever GS main draw win
