It looks will host the 2029 World Champs by default, since no one else actually officially entered the bid. who wanted to host the tournament in their supermodern new arena in Budapest alongside Czech city of Brno for some reason forgot to send the required necessary documents in time and officially announced they abandon the project during the previous christmas period There som rumours is/was considering to bid but never officially announced anything and IIHF did not inform about any their bid interest... So it looks Bratislava and Košice will host the WCh for the third time in last 18 years
