Jeffrey Herlings has destroyed his foot before the first MXGP of the season and has basically already said he's not fighting for the world title anymore, handing a free title to Cairoli.

Host Jury verdict is in. The ball passes to the World.
March 13, 2019.- Another milestone in 2019 TAISC road has been reached, as the host jury confirmed their votes have been cast tonight and sent to neutral Totallympics members intoronto, LDOG and Sindo, for them to validate the results, if necessary.
“This year’s vote was quite hard. Not only there were more than 38 entries that we could have all given points to, as each entry had its own identity and strengths”. jury member mrv86 told the press “In the end we could only pick 12 among them, which was no easy task, not counting that timeframe put us against the clock.”
He then added: “I can assure that our final decision was a conscious one and was done in all fairness. Now all that rest for us is to invite the other members of the national juries to do the same in the next three weeks. All that rest for me to say is good luck to every single participant.”
Here’s the format provided for juries to submit their votes via PM to Host Committee CEO mrv86:
VOTES 12 points 11 points 10 points 9 points 8 points 7 points 6 points 5 points 4 points 3 points 2 points 1 point RESERVES 1st Reserve 2nd Reserve 3rd Reserve 4th Reserve
As stated above, tomorrow marks the date in which national juries must vote during the next three weeks in order to confirm the participation of their respective entries at this year’s Grand Final. Those nations failing to submit their votes on Thursday April 4th will forfeit their participation and could not make the trip to Guadalajara, Mexico.

Skateboarding really needs a minimum age or something...the Olympics with all it's pressure and the Olympic Village are no place for 10-12 year old kids.

If we get a Discord, Totallympics will be less and less active, like basically every forum ever where members start flocking to WhatsApp groups or Discords.

Gianlu33 reacted to AlFHg in Swimming Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
To whom it may concern, (and for the first time in a while I write this sentence not to start a cover letter), here is a very brief recap of swimming qualification after some events took place. Please note that, as @phelpspointed out and as I'm sure almost all of you know, every nation uses its own additional qualification criteria, so this is a purely statistical data made for my own fun.
At the moment, 25 athletes have reached at least once the minimum A in one event. In total, considering multiple participation for athletes, I counted 34 times that A standard was reached. At the same time, 121 minimum B were also established (maximum 1 per nation per event, not counting nations where an A standard in the relevant event was reached).
With this data, this is the current quota distribution:
13 athletes with 18 minimum A achieved;
2 athletes with 4 minimum A achieved;
2 athletes with 3 minimum A achieved;
1 athlete with 2 minimum A achieved;
, , and with 1 athlete each, with 1 minimum A.
Other nations having achieved at least one minimum B are ,
Among the qualifying meetings, the most proficient for qualification purposes has been the TYR Pro Swim Series in Des Moines, , with 27 A standard, followed by City of Milan Trophy, with 5, and Greek and Lithuanian national championships, with 1 each.
Hali Flickinger, has achieved a minimum A in 3 different events.
PS: Please note that I only have partial data regarding Korean National Championships.

As JoshMartini007 wrote in his post, because of a top 5 in a Gold Label Marathon and a top 10 in a Major Series Marathon
He Yinli ended 4th in Women's Marathon and achieved an entry standard, even though her time wasn't under the entry standard: https://media.aws.iaaf.org/competitiondocuments/pdf/6580/CompetitionResults6580.pdf?v=-1039069787
Rose Chelimo ended 9th in Women's Marathon and achieved an entry standard because Tokyo Marathon is a Major Series Marathon, even though her time wasn't under the entry standard: https://media.aws.iaaf.org/competitiondocuments/pdf/6593/CompetitionResults6593.pdf?v=-525104777

Gianlu33 reacted to mrv86 in Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2019
It’s time to celebrate: 38 countries registered for TAISC 2019.
March 10, 2019.- After a process that lasted one month, this year’s Totallympics Annual International Song Contest has 38 entries being nominated by the same number of national juries composed of 47 jury members.
The organizing committee is proud of this achievement, which includes some firsts like Denmark having a multiple jury member for the first time and the debut of the People’s Republic of China in the competition, not forgetting some jurors becoming fully on board with in this edition.
Organizers have acknowledged that not all the credit goes to them, however. The hosts expressed their most sincere gratefulness for all the incredible and enthusiastic support of Totallympics whole community all along the process, which is a true sign of the faith and excitement that this event generates every time it comes to live.
Next on schedule, is the voting process which starts tonight, with the host jury having to select their preferred entries to a couple of neutral sources that will certify the fairness of the whole process before 23:00 hours of next Wednesday. As per usual however, the task will not be easy in great part due to the high quality of each song and artist, as stated by the Mexican jury, mrv86.
Once this step is duly completed, the remaining National juries will have to cast their own votes within the next three weeks, providing another source for both, mystery and excitement as the host will tally each jury’s points to obtain the final rank and thus, reveal this year’s winner.
