    She will be 12 if she makes the Tokyo Olympics. She will not be the youngest offical gold medalist ever, but she is definitely a fun athlete to watch. I just hope she turns out mentally stable after all of this. The Great Britain Skateboarding Association seems to have done a great marketing and protecting her though, so good on them.

    Ok, sorry I couldn’t remember Chile winning a quota there. Good for her though! Big fan of Cyprus getting one too.

    Yeah, the US and Canadian Canoe Slalom Team Trials (for Lima 2019 and World Cup) are happening right now in Oklahoma City. The conditions are less than ideal according to Casey.

    We are still looking for people to join in and help out. It would be great to have someone with a lot of knowledge of combat sports or team sports who is willing to write quick highlights of major events, and or spotlights on athletes and teams.

    According to what @dcro posted, South Africa has the quota for now. They will likely qualify through the world ranking though, leaving Namibia with the quota for the women.

    Update: Me and @Vojthas are attempting to start production on a weekly (at least for now) international sports roundup podcast/show. We are looking for other people willing to help with writing segments, helping with graphics (for the YouTube upload of the podcast), and for people with zero talent (like myself) who are willing to help out. We could really use a few more users to help, so please PM message me if you're interested.

    All of this has been officially confirmed. There were celebrations around the country. There were coups in different areas with multiple gunfights heard (near protestors too). The country is on lockdown for 24 hours, after which borders will reopen. The military has official control the government for the next 2 years (that’s claimed to be a transitional period to a democracy (we’ll see how that goes)). Overall the Sudanese seem pleased with what happened.

    Oh, that’s my bad. I got Squash and Racquetball confused. I do think there are still quotas on offer though.

    I would like to point out that Lebanon’s been fine since thier civil war (besides the separatists that attack at the border every so often). What’s interesting is that the least democratic countries: Oman, Jordan, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain are the most peaceful.
