    Another bad in Italy: today died Luciano de Crescenzo, a famous Italian (and Neapolitan) philosopher, writer and movie director. Today I feel as my conscience has lost some pieces, as he was the writer of one of my favourite books, “Così parlò Bellavista” (more or less could be translated as “Prof. Bellavista’s way of thinking”), which is of continuous inspiration through my whole life. Together with other De Crescenzo’s works, as those dealing with Ancient Greek mythology, they were translated in a lot of languages, and I really suggest you to read it

    Today Andrea Camilleri dies at the age of 93. He was the one who created the Montalbano series and actively took part to the making of a tv series inspired by his books. Although he he was an aged man, I believe he will be missed a lot from a large part of Italian people

    Taken directly from the qualification system: I assume that an injury will be considered as a decline of the quota so in case the world qualifier will count. But even more easily, in case an athlete gets injured the Olympic quota is simply lost and may not be reallocated

    I don't think they can choose, from what I know olympic quotas in marathon swimming are nominal
