  1. Nah, that is easy: when I was at my first year of university I used to remember atomic weights of some element up to the fourth decimal. Then I got old and decided to start making chocolate
  2. If she could decide, she would agree with this :D however, I have started planning some: cinnamon, pistachio, milk chocolate with hazelnuts, dark chocolate with Strega liquor, triple chocolate. Orange filling is kind of intriguing, but I don't think I will be able to get proper ingredients sadly. I would love mou or trying to make a kind of chocolate called cremino. I would also like preparing truffles, but they appear really complicated to me The real problem is being able to prepare correct quantities of filling and of chocolate for covering!
  3. Probably, but then for the specific case I have to deal with the fact that sadly she doesn't like alcohol
  4. I’ve read about a method for doing them, too much complicated
  5. My girlfriend's birthday is coming and this year I want to gift her some homemade chocolate. I would like to make some filled with mou, but every time I try cooking it or caramel, I nearly set on fire my kitchen. However, I'm looking for ideas for filling, so: what's your favorite chocolate / praline?
  6. http://www.ansa.it/sito/notizie/sport/altrisport/2019/12/03/riforma-cerimoniale-italia-sfilera-penultima-a-pechino-2022_15099b8c-f773-4909-95ff-3514e0036092.html Changes incoming for parade of nations during opening ceremonies in Olympic Games: while Greece will still open the parade and host nation will close it, known future host of the games will precede the host country of the Games in the parade. So, in Tokyo 2020, :USA USA will be the third-last (LA 2028), France second-last (Paris 2024) and Japan obviously last. In Beijing 2022, Italy will be second-last and China will close the ceremony as usual. mah. I really cannot understand the need for this.
  7. I don't think this is a bad idea, just it shouldn't be the only chance for Olympics in this sport
  8. Or, IOC can finally decide to give granted host quotas in all sports without creating further mess, as Sailing and judo do
  9. The format has totally changed, it has now become almost an ATP tournament spread on a whole week
  10. in a 24-team tournament, it is likely a universality place. Not that bad, in perspective
  11. FIE seems to have forgotten that there’s World Cup today
  12. So, this time swimming is going to be held in another place rather than athletics
  13. Today there were general elections in Spain and Presidential election in Romania. In the latter, the liberal Iohannis is looking for his second term and will be challenged in the ballot by the socialdemocratic Dancila, who is a former PM of Romania. As regards Spain, PSOE (socialist) lead the elections, confirming the same percentage of April 2019 but losing 2-4 seats. Their most probable allies, Unidos Podemos and Mas Pais, (which is born as a consequence of a division from UP), had an overall loss of 4 seats. Right wing parties, (Popular party and far right Vox) rose sharply, especially the latter which doubled its seats. However, this is in my opinion a Pirro victory as the other leg of a possible right wing coalition, Ciudadanos, lost in practice the same amount of seats earned by the other two parties. From an external view, considering I really do not understand the composition of the galaxy of small and regional parties in Spain, the net result of the elections is that right wing has increased its total number of seats by 3, so no majority will be easily found.
  14. Madison is always a mystery to me. Why did UCI choose it as new Olympic event? Elimination race is easier, faster and funnier... I'm so confused I don't even know if "funnier" is correct in English
  15. Luperi and Arslanov should consider changing their sport from fencing to freestyle wrestling
  16. Max and Chloe probably came here in Naples* and ate too many cuoppi** *Esposito is the most typical surname in Naples, although it looks like it was not a real surname **
  17. Well, left as far as you can imagine left in USA
  18. Granted only if there are no qualified athlete
  19. Milan lost to Liverpool when leading 3-0, so it can be worst
