Clean sweep in the sprint for the Netherlands ...

Ugh, Tissot's website is once again completely broken down.
Just at the right moment
-
Hmm, not the first dangerous (voluntary ?) move from Mitchell
-
Loving the live results for the individual pursuit

Must have been a wild move
She didn't get disqualified though, but relegated (moved to the last finishing position), which is a significant difference
I'm assuming someone who is DQ'ed is actually out of the omnium?
You're right
Didn't see her first time in the standings but she's there with 4 points (more than those who couldn't reach the line by her fault :))

That's already annoying for World Cups, but it's just outright shitty for world championships. If even UCI themselves don't take their events seriously...?
Come on, it's not just qualifying events.
Now you say it ... I wasn't even complaining about it because I integrated the fact that we have to ask for the utter minimum when dealing with broadcasting
Not to mention also the problem of TV channels buying the diffusion rights and then not broadcasting the event

Don't know what happened to Germany in qualifications in the last kilometer but they must be gutted.
-
Gaxiola 10.583
Some casual 9.60 in the Keirin qualification too, this track seems to be rather fast

2) Bauge has been caught doping before and in general i dont want athletes who have been caught before to win and more medals after their return.
He has never been "caught doping", he has been suspended for 3 whereabouts failures, which is not exactly the same.

The advantage of the dutch team in men's team sprint is really "fascinating". Team sprint should be about tenths of a second, but somehow they have about a second on all the other world class relays. Usually GB always pulls off a miracle perfomance at the olympics, but this time they need a really big miracle. In which events do they actually have a realistic shot at gold? Women's team pursuit, women's omnium and ... ? I would be very surprised if they would win 4 golds or more. I can't agree about Bauge, i hope that he will never again win a medal.
Why is that ?

Great time also for the German women, 32.1, WR in Tokyo so we can have a WR sweep ?
-
So some lessons :
- in the Netherlands there is no peak, low lands and a WR form from january to december
- come the Olympics, come team GB
But now they've found someone to talk to
- Gregory Baugé is back into some kind of shape, hope he can end his career getting a medal

Because Van den Berg is their best starter
Although if for some reason he can't ride, they could just as easily put Hoogland there and Büchli in third and no problem at all.
Yeah but Owens or Mitchell (when at his best) are not worst than Van den Berg
-
Ok so I reckon the best two performers ever are now Lavreysen (11.88) and Hoogland (12.22) but Hoogland is making the third leg
-
What a day what a day
Hopefully we didn't even bother to engage a women's team sprint, they would have find a way to explode like the others

Well it wouldn't be very hard for anyone to appear sportsmanlike compared with your good self judging by your nasty little comments. Still if it makes you feel good about yourself
Of course
Always a good way for me to chill out

Denmark beating the WR, again
Italy also breaking that good old WR from this afternoon, but no final for them
-
3.47.5 for NZ, meh not that fast

So France threw away the Olympics as well.
It was already over even before this round ... Ermenault in Wiggins mode
il y a 5 minutes, Nickyc707 a dit :A true sportsman! Reminds me of the French complaining about the British wheels in 2012, when it turned out they were made by the same French company that made the French team's wheels.
British talking about sportsmanship

From 41.87 in Aguascalientes to 41.27 in Berlin
Just imagine them now in Cochabamba
