I guess the better Q time gets to choose his first course. So gold for Liensberger, silver for Worley, bronze for Moltzan

How unfair is this format ?
Start with the blue -> Win

Better from the Norwegians, well carried by their shooting. Shevchenko great again, she or Vasnetcova will probably (re)get a shot in the WC soon.
Once again ski speed is lacking for the young French girls, apart from Chauveau who's really slow on the range, Colombo erratic again with the rifle.

Bos as starter ? I guess he's very desperate for a place in the Olympics

I think that this discussion about l'Equipe is quite funny... Here, in Italy, l'Equipe is the example to imitate (at last for not only football-watcher), is la crème de la crème of the sport journalism. For exemple, Dorothea Weirer never had a frist page on our sport main newspaper (Corriere dello Sport, Gazzetta, Tuttosport) and we never (excluding the Olympic and maybe cycling GT victory) had some "minor sport" in fhe frist page, never. They prefer some transfer market gossip

Fairly sure last year Eurovision had everything (except for in the few countries mentioned, unfortunately for you) and Eurosport had the weekend events. And for the youth/junior worlds I believe the first events were nowhere and only the final events were shown.
Don't you worry, I'll be alright ... Though once again geo-blocking applies even so the event is nowhere to be seen on the channel preventing us from watching the Eurovision stream

I knew the had their snow and size. But since all the urban hubs there are not associated with snow, it's difficult to imagine a biathlete from California making a national team.
California having only one biathlon club + Hammerness training in Norway gives some perspective though.
You don't really need a strong relationship with snow sport to get one guy in the national team, especially for the USA. Like, one motivated athlete can be enough if he's gifted.

Eurovision says that they’ll be live in 13 hours...
That stream will be unavailable in France, Poland, and US though.
They possibly refer to the beginning of the competition they broadcast, not necessarily the event in itself
I don't remember how it was last year.
-
Worth noting that California is bigger than all European States except for Russia, Ukraine, France, Spain and Sweden Covers an area which would roughly contain Italy + Austria + Switzerland

A few minutes more and it would have been exactly 24 hours, guess the news are delayed at German customs
And they whine cause of the sales drop ...

Official: Bradbury golds are the best golds
It's also the first gold medal for a french relay in an international championship
Actually not the good video but still ...
Article (30 words) in L'Equipe or not ? I'd say the odds are 2.10 for the website and 9.80 for the newspaper

the championships are qualifiers for the games?
Nope, once again the qualification in short-track are held in 4 tournaments at the end of the preceding year (so september-december 2021).

A Bradbury kind of relay ?
Of course
But the overall performance of this relay was quite encouraging considering the roster.

AH AH AH Gold in the women's relay
Who would have thought ?

Almost half of the french team (4/10) is from 2004 or 2003
Hmm, most of them are here to fill the blanks I fear. Our best young athletes and prospects will not race : Quentin Fercoq (99), Diané Sellier (01), Gabriel Volet (03). Dmitry Migunov neither but I don't know if he's still in the team.
Tawan Thomas seems to have progressed considering the few races in December but still far from the international level, the others seem to be even further.
Not much to expect from these championships I fear apart from Tifany Huot-Marchand (she can grab a medal I reckon), maybe Sébastien Lepape. I have hopes for Aurélie Monvoisin in the future but she's been injured recently and I'm quite surprised by her presence.

I try hard but I can't ... I can't understand the strange case of Dr Julia and Ms. Simon

Even worse
But ... why did Liensberger start on the blue then ?
