The funny thing is that both Canada and the US are both likely to enter 4 athletes so it wouldn't have made a difference in this case.

Bronze medal for Evan McEachran at the Laax slopestyle world cup!

Elena Gaskell officially finishes 5th in Laax and moves all the way from tier 6 to tier 3 on the qualification matrix and 14th overall. That should solidify her Olympic spot.

Silver medal for Grondin at the Dongbeiya world cup

Big blow for Sweden. Leo Carlsson expected to miss 3-5 weeks with a lesion in his left thigh so he'll surely miss the Olympics. Nylander, Hedman, Erik Karlsson, Brodin, Eriksson Ek, and Landeskog are all currently injured.
