  1. Women's 200m Breaststroke - Both Sydney Pickrem and Kelsey Wog advance Men's 200m Backstroke - Blake Tierney does not advance Women's 200m Butterfly - Summer McIntosh advances
  2. My 3 main criticisms of this intro: 1. Length, like you mentioned 2. Generic animated athletes instead of featuring Canadian athletes 3. Can't see any cultural elements at all. In the past, you can tell which country the games are being held in just by listening to the intro but this just sounds like a generic piece of music. Oh well. My two favourites are still Beijing 2008 and Sochi 2014.
  3. I don't think the triathlon/duathlon is confirmed yet, or is it? Does anyone know?

  6. If it makes you feel any better, Canada didn't win any medals for the first 7 days at Beijing 2008 but we still ended up with 18 medals, which was around the expected number.
  7. One of those was softball and the other was weightlifting (which is later in the program this year). If you take those two out, it's the same.
  8. Easy for Milak No Americans will be in the 200 fly final
  9. Richards 6th in the heat. Hopefully didn't waste too much energy for the relay
  10. Hwang Sunwoo also withdrew from the 100 free. Going all in on the relay.
