  1. And that's what I was still looking for, everybody wins
  2. It's not much, but at least it's a list of who qualified from the pools and who didn't. http://www.esgrima-fae.com.ar/userfiles/file/FAE 2019/CEM.pdf
  3. Top speed for world record holder Simone Origone in qualifying for the speed skiing world championships yesterday: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yxp-HmaJdt9sCAnUHmzLjy29wEkea3nV/view Far away from the world record though, probably because the top of the track is unavailable due to some avalanche problems. Next week's Speed Masters, considered a world record attempt, has been cancelled for the same reason.
  4. I like it as one event, the Tour de Ski. One 'different' thing as sort of an ultimate test, cool, but the rest...meh. Just like I very much like the Four Hills Tournament in ski jumping, but all the Willingen Five and RAW AIR stuff can go back to not existing.
  5. I would not say he's the source, but when you appoint a mobster boss as your president, it's sort of the personification of the whole situation.
  6. There are a few other (young) girls, but they hadn't prepared for classic and so arrived today (or will arrive tomorrow, not sure) for the freestyle races. Federation wanted this race cancelled because of that, but since every race - even with one athlete - gives a certain small amount of prize money, she was logically against the cancellation and they let her start (the prize money is not much, but she very much needs every penny). Nobody is happy with this, as you can imagine she as an athlete wants to really win races, not be the winner of a ghost race. Not her fault though, she does everything by the book. https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&competitorid=223093&raceid=31652 I believe Taynara, Luana and Isabelly will be there tomorrow. Another one was supposed to be there, but won't be, so I'm kinda hoping on a 4th post-2000 girl or this Gabriela (who is a coach) participating to complete a field of 5.
  7. Winner......aaaaaand still unbeaten on Brazilian soil https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=33779
  8. Oh right, stage races. They should keep that with the Tour de Ski.
  9. Who on earth thought it'd be cool to have a World Cup season and then have half points for the World Cup finals?
  10. Some of those make so little sense But if they are used somewhere official, that is indeed a better option even when making less sense. is a mystery indeed, I can't find it anywhere on this database with an absolute shitload of flags http://www.flagid.org/default.asp
  11. That was Red Bull. https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/meteor-in-los-angeles-sets-twitter-alight-turns-out-to-be-a-film-shoot-2010820
  12. Great, now I spent like 110 seconds for nothing. Pitchforks and torches
  13. 31x gold, 18x silver, 19x bronze for the Dutch team They arrived today at Amsterdam Airport
  14. Semenic with a good attempt to try and jump out of the hill.
  15. What a flight for Kasai Beautiful landing and a 20.0 from one of the judges
  16. If there are official three letter country codes for stuff like Bougainville or the Cocos Islands, I absolutely agree. Just didn't think that existed
  17. I'm happy Australia is in the list, yes, but still I'd have problems counting it as Jill's World Cup debut
  18. I could express it in a dance so I don't have to actually say it?
  19. Agreed, or anything negative that's not automatically crying. Plenty of times I'd like to react to something, but it's not big enough to react with words, so a reaction is fine...but crying would be way too much
