    Meh. On one hand it's cool someone ran under two hours and Kipchoge seems like a nice guy, on the other hand it would have been so much better if it had been during a regular marathon.

    With a vastly bigger diversity and a lot of cool fights in the back of the pack, where one sees athletes you don't generally see on TV again and again. Plus I feel like the atmosphere is possibly more relaxed there, out of the spotlights. I like out of the spotlights

    This annoys me. I'm doing WADA's online ADeL ALPHA course (about doping) and there's some characters in there to set the stories and so on. Now there's this one. "Downhill skier", ugh. It's alpine skiing or freestyle skiing (or any other form of skiing), downhill is only an event within alpine sk....oh wait, MOGULS?! Oh come on.

    I'm hoping I can vote in time. There's a lot of songs to listen and during my stay in Brazil I'm noticing I really don't have a lot of time for such things. Which is of course a good sign in itself, but not so much for my voting chances. Let's see.

    He wasn't in bad shape right before the world champs neither Well, he won the Vuelta, wasn't great at the world champs and now is winning some relatively minor races after he dominated the first part of the season. I think his season is already more than good

    Then they'd get yellow cards. Much like the warnings and eventual DQ's in race walking where, again, it's about the naked eye, not about whatever some slow motion camera shows.

    Slow motion cameras are all fun and well, they have nothing to do with race walking. It's about the naked eye.

    Besides, there is not a single medicine to save race walking, but every bit helps.

    Until they adjust and increase the speeds. It wouldn't make it perfect, but it would take a (not every) human element out of the judging and that's good.

    Always against Italy! Chips showing nobody is walking regularly is not a problem: like Evan Dunfee said earlier, if the rules change, the walkers simply change with them. People who have no idea about race walking (most people that is ) always say walkers are cheating, but that's just not true. Unless of course every foul in football is cheating as well, for example.

    I wonder if they had as good a coverage of judges Plus, sure those chips might be getting closer (as long as they're not making entering the sport more expensive), for now they're not there yet.
