  1. It seems like the end for Tessie Savelkoul's Olympic dream: her leg was in a very, very weird position and she had to be stretchered off.
  2. More than excellent weekend for Vlhova. She could have gotten even more today without that rather big mistake.
  3. Goggia crashed. Water is wet. Snow is cold.
  4. Current positions would bring Brignone to within 200 points of Shiffrin. Not that Shiffrin cares much about that at the moment I assume.
  5. Yeah that didn't look too good. Hopefully it's a matter of taking a few days off and that'll be enough.
  6. I'd love to see her compete and possibly inspire some people, yes. I hope she does understand that Olympic schedules can't be made around which day is an 'impossible' day for which religion though, but I'm sure she understands that even though it's a shame for her now.
  7. And this is a World Cup and in fencing that's actually the highest level?
  8. Well in this case the only way is to say "Even though my religion says it's a rest day, I'll run anyway because it's my dream." Most likely she won't, I guess, so she can't run. It really is/was entirely up to her and if her Olympic dream is less important than her having to follow religious rules without any chance for an exception, then that is the only choice she could make.
  9. Last year the Tour of Israel was mysteriously cancelled, this year the 'Tel Aviv Classic' died a slow death and just disappeared Oh Israel, stop making a mess of stuff. Deservedly in this case by the way, any new race that calls itself a 'Classic' should be automatically cancelled.
  10. Kramer being Kramer in the B-division. Only Yuskov and Pedersen have ever had a faster 3k than his 3:36, and then he slowed down and stopped. Only preparation for next week
  11. I wonder if they too have to drive 10.000 kilometers to go to the competitions, in their old van, like the Mongolians a few years ago
  12. @Finnator123 would like to have a word with you
  13. Plus I always, no matter which sport, love seeing athletes go to their limits and far, far beyond it, like Ren in those last laps I heard they called the Dresden fire department because his legs were setting the whole stadium on fire.
  14. And future luge, where according to Arturs Darznieks it's only a matter of time before Latvia fields a Sics, Sics, Sics/Sics relay
  15. Meaning you either were incorrect in your answers or this website gave Trump standpoints he doesn't actually have. There is no shame in 'agreeing 25%' with a politician, there is more shame in being ashamed of that.
  16. Lardschneider crashed into a certain Brazilian in one of the earlier IBU Cups this season, so boooo
  17. And to keep it at least a tiny bit on-topic: Chardine Sloof --> Chardine Hard Worker Who Is Disrespected
  18. Speksnijder is literally just 'bacon cutter', nothing to do with a whaling ship or blubber (anymore)
  19. Like u and ü being different?
  20. Yes, now what? I'm not going to be so pathetic to say "Oh Trump says this, so I automatically say the opposite".
  21. Could have formulated that better.
  22. Ren Ziwei took the 1500m win in Dresden by launching an all-out attack in the first lap, nearly lapping everyone and holding on for dear life until the finish That was rather epic, I've rarely seen someone in short track skating where you could almost visibly see his legs burn as much as Ren's legs in the last laps.
  23. Wow, you are one amazing guesser
  24. That comes to as much as a shock to me as Haugan and Pertl getting a podium today
