    Well, I highly doubt well-known cycling websites are all in an anti-Israel conspiracy and making things up So most likely it's some Israeli organizers who thought it'd be easy to have a race after the start of the Giro in Jerusalem (possibly without even involving the Israeli cycling federation) and then it all just died a slow death two years in a row.

    Well this did not keep me up at all, because in the morning after the Oscars I just go to WIkipedia and see who won what and be like "Oh, cool...never heard of him/her, no idea who that is...what's this movie?" Nothing keeping me up last night, but full-power for the Daytona 500 next Sunday I guess I'm more or less the only one though, so it doesn't much count.

    Although I must mention a few exceptions for ice hockey, most notably the big Olympic matches/world championships finals and I also kinda like the NHL play-offs

    Seems like more people than usual are happy with the outcomes: from regular movie viewers to people focussed on the diversity thing, everyone won Too bad Jojo Rabbit didn't win, it would probably have been a unique moment where I had actually seen the 'best picture' winner

    It'd be so much easier if it was a matter of crossing out sports you don't care for....I'd just select figure skating, curling, ice hockey and we're done (freestyle skiing and snowboarding only escape because of the cross, otherwise they can fly out the window)

    No idea how the Netherlands didn't get disqualified in the women's race, Van Ruijven just pushed one of the Chinese girls onto the ice Then again, Schulting had her fair share of avoiding penalties as well, including this weekend.

    The Dutch head coach has said it's 'most likely the end of her Olympic hopes' (Savelkouls), although it's still not clear exactly what the extent of her injury is. Henk Grol said he mostly just hopes she'll be able to walk normal after this, the team is rather shocked after that horror injury.
