  1. Surely this is supposed to be 0,30 seconds or something instead of 30 seconds per step? #18 What will be the time difference between the winner and the last placed athlete of the Men's Super-G? (step - 30s)
  2. Right, if we know we can expect a solution it makes it easier, thanks

  4. Right, in that case I just hope I'm in time.

  6. Ah right, I knew about him of course, but had no idea that was before the opening ceremony
  7. One of the videos I got was from right behind a Slovak flag, they've got a pretty cool view from up there
  8. I'm planning to focus on it tomorrow when I get back home (late afternoon), now I just can't. I really hope I can get the first questions in before the first deadline, which - much to my surprise! - is already tomorrow at the moment of the opening ceremony instead of the moment of the first competition start..
  9. Judging by the first photos the village seems to be one giant appartment building in some awesome circular shape Also it looks like the Netherlands and Brazil are vertical neighbours, with Lithuana and Estonia under them and Kazakhstan close as well. Photos to follow.
  10. They seem to have now officially given up on the Africa's Team gimmick, although their announcements are still absolute pearls of total bullshit. Every single rider is announced as a huge addition to the team, someone with awesome results and so on....when in reality for example they have an 11th place in stage X of some random tour in China as best result
  11. I love no system more than this one. It's so incredibly easy to find what you're looking for, not all those dumb fancy things events create by themselves to look flashy or whatever. It's just simple and it works.
  12. You're from a country where English is the main native language basically and you do the same...
  13. Little info for you: https://www.lausanne2020.sport/results/nh/en/Participant/ParticipantInfo/6d5d5e94-dfb0-4022-9f19-a5582992b4e8 Duda is the younger sister of Cristian Ribera, who with 15 years old was the youngest athlete at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Paralympics. He's a seriously talented kid and I would not at all be surprised if he has a medal chance come 2022. Not sure about Cristian, but she (and Tatah) are trained by her older brother.
  14. Yeah, let's just go ahead and say the cross-country is by far her main thing, the biathlon just....exists, that's all For Brazil in cross-country skiing it's Taynara 'Tatah' da Silva against Eduarda 'Duda' Ribera in the women's races and Rhaick Bonfim against Spanish-based Manex Silva in the men's races. The two Argentinian female cross-country skiers are pretty decent, the Chilean girl was pretty far behind in São Carlos in October, but I think on snow she's a bit better. As for the Brazilian fights: money is on Duda and Manex to win their duels 3-0 (5/10k classic, sprint free and cross), possibly 2-1. For Tatah it's a shame the sprint is freestyle, since classic sprint is by far her strongest event - she's got some seriously good double poling power. Also: she is the one who's going to give us any information we want/she can find about which countries are in which buildings She left for Lausanne this morning, so I don't think we'll have to wait long
  15. Oh well, after Harms vs Harryson, they showed the match statistics....and showed 2-2 as final standing It's BDO, if something smells wrong, looks wrong and seems to be wrong, trust that it's wrong.
  16. That doesn't sound so overly weird, at least here 31 December is a perfectly normal working day even though for me personally it never feels like it
  17. Beginning of the year, sounds perfectly logical actually.
  18. When clicking on the super-G in the app, it brings you to an explanation page....where it explains that in slalom they have two runs. Super-G isn't slalom FFS.
  19. Especially this. Come on, it can't be that hard to at the very least have a list of athletes per sport which one can filter by nation or something?
  20. It's all nice and fun to have some game like this, but why on earth don't they first focus on the actual content of the app? It's basically nothing and the YOG starts in a few days.
