    Yes, for a World Cup or an exhibition race. In an Olympic event, everyone should have the same chances from the start on, no handicaps or bonus times or whatever.

    I hate reasons like "It's too much to be fun" or "it's overkill" or something, because ugh, just don't participate in those you don't like. Reasons like the one you mention however, where it's about it just being too much work for the organizers, are totally different and of course perfectly valid and understandable

    That's more than we see of the Olympic final if there's no Dutch team involved They prefer talking about sports for hours on Olympic days instead of showing live sports, it's truly amazing how the main Dutch broadcaster always manages to fuck it up.

    Only if the Dutch team plays (in a 'major' championships...and preferably on a weekend...and if there's not much else to show, like was all the case today ).

    Awesome, I see you're on schedule for the half? I was going for 9k in 54 minutes last Wednesday (increasing my 6:00/km endurance with 1km per week, then I'll end up with exactly the half marathon total on 4 April), but managed to push out 10km in a bit over 59 minutes Next Wednesday the challenge is 11k in 1:06, let's see.
