  1. And that's it, the Czech votes have sealed the deal and Serbia is the winner of the Totallympics Open International Song Contest 2020! The contest is of course not over, there are still plenty of positions to decide, but the streets of Belgrade erupt in quiet, distanced and mask-covered joy! Juries voted so far: 30 / 35 Next jury: Hungary TOISC - NETHERLANDS 2020 Indonesia 18 54 Serbia 1 202 Denmark 19 51 Canada 2 135 China 20 49 Malta 3 120 Italy 20 49 Ireland 4 118 Poland 22 48 France 5 115 Portugal 22 48 India 6 108 United States 24 45 Kazakhstan 7 96 Spain 25 41 Lithuania 8 88 Tunisia 26 39 Germany 9 86 Croatia 27 38 New Zealand 10 85 Slovakia 28 36 Brazil 11 78 Greece 29 35 Moldova 12 74 Egypt 30 32 Great Britain 12 74 Slovenia 30 32 Argentina 12 74 Israel 32 28 Netherlands 15 72 Mexico 33 24 Romania 16 70 Hungary 34 23 Czech Republic 17 59 Bulgaria 35 14 Hungary is up next, @Vektor , could you shed some light on how the fight for the remaining positions might develop?
  2. That is considered a tad early here (unless one drinks it at dinner), but go ahead
  3. The streets in Canada are slowly going silent, but one should not give up hope. The streets of Belgrade meanwhile are getting noisy, this made have been the decisive 12-pointer in this year's TOISC! Or has it....? It is, after all, TISC. Juries voted so far: 29 / 35 Next jury: Czech Republic TOISC - NETHERLANDS 2020 Indonesia 18 54 Serbia 1 193 China 19 49 Canada 2 129 Denmark 19 49 Malta 3 110 Italy 19 49 Ireland 4 107 Poland 22 48 India 5 105 Portugal 22 48 France 6 103 United States 24 45 Kazakhstan 7 89 Spain 25 41 Lithuania 8 88 Tunisia 26 39 New Zealand 9 85 Croatia 27 38 Brazil 10 78 Greece 28 35 Germany 10 78 Egypt 29 32 Argentina 12 74 Slovakia 29 32 Great Britain 13 73 Slovenia 29 32 Netherlands 14 72 Israel 32 28 Romania 15 70 Mexico 33 24 Moldova 16 69 Hungary 34 23 Czech Republic 17 59 Bulgaria 35 14 We take it to the Czech Republic, where @Michal Hroch could potentially decide the contest...please, show us the votes
  4. You finished not even outside of your voting window, no worries at all
  5. You've got @Bohemia and @Benolympique together, its undoable. *throws hands in the air*
  6. Only recently did I eat kapsalon for the first time Although it was homemade and the real one should be gotten somewhere in a Turkish bar in the middle of the night while the whole thing drips with grease, I'm told
  7. I mean, it does't get much more Dutch than Defqon, a hardcore festival with 100.000-200.000 visitors a year that's held across the Veluwe Lake and the tunes of which reach Nunspeet until deep in the night at the end of June Skip a few minutes ahead for a better idea...
  8. I was definitely not going for the win with that one, but for once really wanted to show a mostly Dutch genre of music, or at least one that started growing here Personally I'm not the biggest fan of Happy Hardcore, but I do like this one, Have you ever been mellow and a few others
  9. Ketchup on fries is seriously a waste of good fries, ugh. It often does come as a sidedish when ordering something in a restaurant, having it as a whole meal is usually more for fastfood situations or at home (often on a Sunday ).
  10. Right, the people in normal places have finished their dinner, the others...well, they'll figure out what to do, because the fifth and final session of TOISC 2020 is already getting underway! @Bohemia, would you be so kind to share with us the French votes and get us back on track?
  11. And lastly: ah, TISC. The twice-a-year-tradition of finding each other's eating times weird
  12. I just take some slices of bread for the lunch break and at home have a good dinner, fine enough
  13. I don't know about you, but a normal late afternoon/evening here on a regular day looks roughly like this: dinner anywhere between 17:15 and 18:30 (it mostly just depends on work schedules and such), roughly between 20:00 and 21:00 something to drink with a small snack and bedtime around 23:00 or so, on a regular - nothing special - workday On a weekend day there's often a later time to go to bed and an alcoholic beverage in between
  14. Do they not...you know, do anything with their life? I mean, I can get different eating schedules, but surely they don't go to sleep 5 minutes after dinner or wake up hours before breakfast, so what's up with that? By midday nearly half my workday is over already..
  15. I have a feeling I actually entered a Golden Earring song once, but I might be totally wrong
