  1. Oh I'm now reading that his coach/father said for now it doesn't look like he has a serious injury, that would be good.
  2. He got injured?
  3. Well hello Allyson and Shanae.
  4. Shit has hit the fan in Turkey, fighter jets flying low over Ankara and Istanbul, military in the streets, bridges closed by armed soldiers etc. Rumours of both a military coup or an attack on the highest military authorities.
  5. Absolutely! Especially now that there are two who can somewhat, possibly, maybe challenge Semenya, but seeing a 1:52-something would be interesting anyway
  6. Incredibly times overall by the way, 9 women under 2 minutes is something really, really rare
  7. 1:55.33, 22nd fastest time in history for Semenya and she barely even tried until 600 meters. She's now officially in faster shape than ever, since this is her PB.
  8. First race ever with Semenya vs Niyonsaba vs Wambui, here we go
  9. Yeah, he lost 6 times to Kiprop before
  10. Kwemoi isn't exactly a new Kenyan
  11. Diamond League victory for Alfred Kipketer And that was a very easy 44low for Van Niekerk
  12. Well it's Movistar, they work magic in the last rest day and start being in their best shapes after that, so I'm really not saying goodbye to Quintana's (podium) chances yet
  13. Because I don't know why Froome should be punished since I heard yesterday that the rules make an exception for things "caused by the organization", which is a possible way to classify what happened to Froome, Porte and Mollema. But like I said, the video of Quintana simply holding a wheel on a car is too short to make punishments, but it certainly is something that raises an eyebrow (more than Froome, because holding a car while doing nothing obviously gives more of an advantage than running like crazy).
  14. And Mollema having moved up to 2nd, what a Tour de France-day Quintana now definitely has to attack after the last rest day, which could get interesting as well. Very strong Yates, so it's gonna be a good fight for the places behind Froome and even Froome really did not look untouchable on the Ventoux.
  15. Wow, Dumoulin has completely annihilated each and everyone today
  16. I just think of it now, but who has the final authority to accept the quota? The NZL wrestling federation or their NOC?
  17. That's incredibly unfair for Namibia
  18. By the way, giving it to Miller makes absolutely no sense and royally screws Namibia over doesn't it?
  19. Ah that's such a shame...I really liked the story of Kumar being pushed out of a riding train by the father of an opponent when he was a boy, only for Kumar to be an Olympian and the other being far away from that years later
  20. I'm sure he is very talented, but it's getting a bit annoying that Haase's list of people who beat him just keeps on growing with players ranked 150 or way, way higher Copy-paste from a Dutch forum: Maxime Teixeira (#287), 2-6 2-6, Rennes 2015 Artem Smirnov (#407), 3-6 6-4 4-6, Szczecin 2015 Lamine Ouahab (#313), 2-6 4-6, Casablanca 2015 Jules Marie (#271), 6-7(5), 1-5 RET, Auckland 2015 Enzo Couacaud (#319), 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-7(4), Rennes 2014 Radu Albot (#189), 6-1, 3-6, 0-6, Trnava 2014 Alexander Zverev (#285), 0-6 2-6, Hamburg 2014 Norbert Gombos (#166), 7-5 4-6 5-7, Prostejov 2014 Aleksandr Nedovyesov (#73), 6-7 (6) 4-6, Casablanca 2014 Frank Dancevic (#152), 6-7 (5) 6-3 5-7 6-7 (3) Pablo Carreno-Busta (#256), 1-6 6-2 6-7(5), Barcelona 2013 Hiroki Moriya (#204), 6-2 6-7(6) 3-6, Bangkok 2012 Mate Pavic (#640), 4-6 6-7(2), Rosmalen 2012 Lamine Ouahab (#752), 3-6 2-6, Casablanca 2012 Julien Benneteau (#113), 6-3 6-7(7) 6-7(6), Winston-Salem 2011 Axel Michon (#464), 3-6 6-7(6), Boekarest 2010 Andrea Arnaboldi (#291), 3-6 3-6, Martinstad 2010 Lamine Ouahab (#181), 4-6 6-7(4), Rome 2010 George Bastl (#470), 6-4 4-6 3-6, Marseille 2008 Kamil Capkovic (#366), 6-7(5) 6-3 3-6, Bratislava 2007 Ivan Navarro (#113), 6-7(5) 6-7(0), Tokio 2007 Nenad Zimonjic (#495), 6-7(8) 6-3 5-7, Halle 2007 Peter Wessels (#530), 1-6 6-3 6-7(1), Praag 2007 But yeah I must admit, losing against Rublev isn't his worst loss ever
  21. Robin Haase Our big tennis hope, losing to the 18-year old #192-ranked player in the world
  22. I still don't understand Jamaica...they have 4 athletes in the men's 100/200/400 meters listed as actually running those events, but why? None of them are listed as alternates, so what's up with that? Who will actually run the events?
  23. New video...what's worse, Froome running up the mountain (slower and probably more energy costly than cycling) or Quintana simply holding one of the wheels on the medical car so he has to do absolutely nothing?! If one of them should be punished, it's Quintana if you ask me... (after seeing this video) Of course it's also possible he was just trying to not fall and held that wheel for just one second so he wouldn't fall, but it looks worse than Froome's running.
  24. Exactly Tom Dumoulin by the way: "Hey jury, I was held up by people on the side of the road as well, around 21 minutes I believe, can I get my time back?" It would almost be fair since Quintana simply got dropped and still got his time back
