  1. @hckosice Kristina Madarasova in the semi's of the European champs at the juniors
  2. Well for me personally it makes no difference since I already have a Eurosport Player subscription anyway
  3. Sadly it doesn't work in every country, but at least it looks like people in many countries can follow it this way. There's also the Eurosport Player, for people who want to watch it but live in a country where the IAAF stream doesn't work (like the Netherlands).
  4. That domination by Sokwakhana in the 400m hurdles, insane
  5. That Brazilian dude in the 400m hurdles is getting bold rather early..
  6. Ooooooooh damn, did someone see that 400m hurdles girls final? Sanique Walker of Jamaica had a huge lead, dominated the race, but almost tripped over the last hurdle and Zeney van der Walt of South Africa came back to take the gold by passing her in the last meter
  7. Yes, he is the example of 'love him or hate him', there's barely anything between I like his attacking style he has shown throughout the years and let's be fair, he is (well, he was) a fantastic cyclist....but daaaaamn he is so freaking annoying with his annoying attention whoring whenever a camera is near There's some good photos of Titi:
  8. One might call that impressive. Really hope he does that in London next month, maybe at least then it'll look like Van Niekerk has some competition
  9. And that's where you're wrong
  10. Just as often as I play tennis (on a table or not) together with someone against two other people in real life Doubles tennis is just two people playing tennis at the same side of the net against two other people. I mean, if you're gonna look at it like that... Synchronized diving definitely introduces a new level, more so than for example swimming 100 or 200 meters.
  11. I don't think calling every doubles event a team event is entirely fair If they would both dive individually and the points of the man and woman are added together, that would be a real team event. Synchronized diving is a whole different ball game
  12. As long as it's not Olympic, it's alri.....oooooh wait.
  13. Yes, but other riders at least try to go on the attack. Maybe it's UAE's DS fault, but it turns Meintjes into a rider that won't be remembered at all, not even if he finishes ten times in the top-10. Just like Maxime Monfort who completely invisibly has gone to a boatload of top-20 finishes in grand tour GC's http://www.procyclingstats.com/rider.php?id=140536&season=&c=3&code=riderstats-grand-tour-starts
  14. No way you can blame her and her father (I mean, who's gonna say no to a shitload of money and financial security for probably a long time?), but damn, I f*cking hate those Azerbaijan sports rats.
  15. Louis Meintjes is not very much liked among cycling fans (not at all on the Dutch forum because all he ever does is hanging in the last wheels, without any hope for anything better), just saw this post from I think Cyclingnews forum (but I'm not sure) posted on the Dutch one, pretty much spot on
  16. Clijsters
  17. That's the fault of the organizers, not necessarily the Olympics. It's perfectly possible to have Olympics that are very much economically feasible, but you need organizers with some balls to go for some real innovation (in the way things are organized, built, used etc), instead of the 55647th set of organizers who want to make everything bigger, better, brighter and faster. Maybe a smaller city would be an ideal start in showing that it in fact does not necessarily have to have a negative economic impact, so people's negativity can rightfully be turned around.
  18. [hide] Men's Singles Final British Summer Time (GMT +1) Date and Venue Athlete 1 T1 T2 Athlete 2 July 16th 2017, h. 14:00, Centre Court, Wimbledon [7] Marin Cilic 1 3 Roger Federer [3] Mixed Doubles Final British Summer Time (GMT +1) Date and Venue Athlete 1 T1 T2 Athlete 2 July 16th 2017, h. 13:00, N°1 Court, Wimbledon [1] Jamie Murray [1] Martina Hingis 2 0 Henri Kontinen Heather Watson [/hide]
  19. Also the first French and first British medal I guess
  20. Going to the finish now
  21. If there's ever a perfect chance for Matthews to win, it's tomorrow. Van Avermaet seems to be getting stronger as well, but outside of those two, everyone would be a surprise I think.
  22. That's possible as well, but damn, he just sat up straight, stopped pushing and still won...in a 100m
