No Dutch women'x 4x400m at the European championships. In the current shape they might have shown something nice, but due to the incredibly strange programming the federation decided it would be too much of a risk for the athletes. On 11 August the women's individual 400m final will be at 20.05.....and at 21.50 it's the final of the women's 4x400m I truly wonder which idiot thought that would be a good idea.

So the farmers attacked the peloton by throwing stuff on the road to block them (potentially life threatening, luckily nothing happened there), followed by the police using pepperspray to those attacking farmers (before, hopefully, arresting them) and that got in the eyes of several riders.

Apparently some protesting French farmers did it....that's not the first time they pulled something like this, but this is definitely the worst I've seen.

What the hell, peloton has been attacked with pepperspray and the race is stopped for now.

The exact same one I spent almost a week in January 2017 and for the exact same reason: to visit the IBU Cup (biathlon) in nearby - but absolutely tiny - Arber It might or might not be coupled with the next IBU Cup (Lenzerheide, Switzerland), which would make it an almost 2-week trip

I'm not even sure about their status here I think shops still have to accept them, but usually prices are rounded up or down towards 5c so you don't really need it. I know there is one sort of annoying cheap ass shop here that still gives them, but that's about it

It really depends on the country. For example here in the Netherlands only a handful of shops still give out 1-2 cents, most of them don't and you don't often get them anymore. And @konig: Ignore the 'only the 1 euro is useful' part please It's not true, 2 euro is just as useful, and so is 50 cent (the coin, the singer is in fact useless)

I've also heard about a rider taking a pee against the wind, not realizing the race director's car was right behind him. Race director stuck his head through the window in the roof right when the rider started peeing, which then went on to splash violently against the front window of the car, up in the race directors face. So yeah, take care
