  1. Wait until Sunday afternoon (I have to pick up my girlfriend tomorrow and we go home Sunday and snow and trains are no good combination here) and then I'll take all.
  2. The facts disagree though.
  3. Here it's supposed to be kinda wintery but it's full-on spring It's not even close to being cold (8-10 degrees mostly) and it's raining all day. Ugh. Time to listen "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas".
  4. I hope so...I just got confirmation that they indeed did not know anything about this race being a points-race, I wonder if the Brazilian and Australian federations (they share Luca Bormolini as coach) were even told about this change. If not, this is madness.
  5. 232,67, FUCK YEAH Gabi is well on the 300's though...this would be really sad if it means her biathlon season is now over Last year the SuperSprint Q (Khanty-Mansiysk) didn't give points, so that changed for this season but apparently not all teams were told..
  6. Yep...I specifically remember how during August/September this was all planned out. They'd only compete non-points races in trimester 1, specifically to focus 100% on points races (individuals + sprints) in trimester 2 so they could qualify for trimester 3 (because in trimester 1 there were less chances with Idre being too expensive for them to go to). Now I'm freaking out and F5'ing biathlonresults like a madman waiting for the points PDF. I'm 99,99% sure Gabi didn't make the 250 points cut so her season might be over in terms of biathlon (which is definitely her main thing)...as for Bruna's chances I'm at 50/50 with her result..
  7. Ok, this is problematic....Bruna didn't participate in any individual/sprint so far this season, because she's only gonna do that in the 2nd trimester where there are way more chances to get under 250 IBU points and qualify for the 3rd trimester. Competing in the relays and SuperSprint was no problem, because they wouldn't give IBU qualifying points.....and now apparently the SuperSprint qualifying does, and if she didn't get under 250 just now, her biathlon season might suddenly be over because someone said "no, SuperSprint qualifying gives no points" when in fact it does..
  8. It does sound a lot more interesting than mass start 60 or something.
  9. "I'm gonna focus on shooting and skiing fast more than on shooting accurate" BOOM, best shooting result in over a year
  10. Chasing Poliakova in the supersprint tomorrow @hckosice
  11. That happens like once in thirty times
  12. In two years Sacoor can run the 4x400 by himself and still win a medal.
  13. "Tinder" doesn't really seem like a hobby, but more like something you spend 5 minutes on (I could be totally wrong, since I have 0 experience with that kind of apps, I just write about winter sports and find myself a girlfriend that way )
  14. So last week Dale made his IBU Cup debut with two dominant wins, now he made his World Cup debut with 0+0 and a 15th place, excellent, the hypetrain is gaining speed Also, his hobby is apparently, according to his IBU profile, "Tinder"
  15. That's quite a female looking man.
  16. This interview: He's saying stuff like "I know it's just a little 6th place, but for me it means so much" and after that "I know many wouldn't care so much about a 6th place, but it really means the world to me after all these years." "In the last lap I was thinking about my coach Klaus Siebert, who passed away. I always told him 'some day, somewhere I'm going to have one more great race again', today I had a perfect one. In the last lap I was already crying, this is for you Klaus, and for Bernd ('who made my ... (rifle maybe?)'), they both died. I have so much to thank my family and friends for, and the Belgian and Swiss* teams, who always supported me without any doubt." Two years later and I still almost can't watch this with dry eyes Rösch *he trains a ton with beard bro Weger
  17. For sure Michael Rösch in his epic pursuit in Pokljuka (6th place) where his beard was full of slime and his face was full of tears of joy afterwards (and tears of sadness, because his former coach passed away a few days before and after many years* he finally got a real result again, it was so incredibly awesome to see a nice guy like Rösch be so happy, I watched that interview almost with tears). * it was his first individual top-10 in the World Cup in 8 (!) years
  18. Öhling Norberg missed the Q for the 2nd race.
  19. She did so by finishing 17th...and then finished 17th in the qualifying for the second race too
  20. Time for Johannes Dale's World Cup debut/first World Cup win Choo choooo!
  21. This sounds an awful lot like Kira Toussaint, although she used the more standard "I don't know how this got in my body".
  22. How can 'no mark' count the same for result? I thought the results counting also needed to have some meaning (like, good results means higher ranking)
  23. Meanwhile Gatwick Airport in London has been shut down for hours and hours.....because of drones flying around.
  24. In the first men's qualifying, World Cup champion Marc Bischofberger failed to qualify, whereas among others Victor Öhling Norberg, Daniel Bohnacker and last week's winner Jonas Lenherr barely made it.
  25. After reaching the semi's in 13 of her last 14 World Cups and Olympic silver, Brittany Phelan missed qualifying for the first race in Innichen.
