  1. Since hard climbs have the potential to make significant differences.
  2. Kiki Bertens won the title and made Dutch tennis history Biggest Dutch tournament win (women) since Kea Bouman won Roland Garros in 1927 (!) and she's the highest placed ever female Dutch player on the world ranking now...4th, breaking Betty Stöve's record of 5th from 1977
  3. This week I ran 20km for the first time, 2.5km further than I've ever done before Sure, not with any significant speed yet (2:08), but it was about the distance, faster times come later. Feeling more and more confident for my half marathon debut on 16 June
  4. That's cheating.
  5. No idea, but not since today since this was not a prologue.
  6. Do those meets have races run in yards and heights and lengths measured in feet and inches and stuff? If so, they're disqualified from the entire discussion
  7. With which I agree, but it'd be stupid if that's because an Italian happens to be in trouble
  8. Yeah Sho was a little less dramatically bad than the other Japanese guy, I must admit Still, I think Hatsuyama's GC ambitions can be thrown down the drain, he'll have to go for stage wins now
  9. And the second Japanese guy is in major trouble as well. Thank you sponsors for forcing the team to register two riders who are 16 levels below this
  10. That would be so unfair if they do that because Mareczko is at risk
  11. One of the two obligated/excuse Japanese riders in Nippo-Vini Fantini finished outside the time limit today, nearly five minutes behind Roglic
  12. On a Dutch forum, where someone (judging by the link) found it on Twitter
  13. Climbing times so far: Ciccone, lol.
  14. Slightly less interesting I think, but interesting nonetheless
  15. Roglic destroying the rest as was entirely expected
  16. I thought that was in the later part of the year Maybe I am confused and 'one or two months ago' is actually already 'a half year ago'
  17. I've seen this climb before this year but I don't remember where Help
  18. There's a major difference between rushing the program and having 5-10 minutes of literally nothing all the time. There's no field events or anything here to show something in those long times where nothing happens. When a heat is finished, the next one can start. When track events are the only thing, there's just no reason to have nothing for so long every single time.
  19. It's a few hours before the start, which means Victor Campenaerts is by now probably busy anally inserting some fluid to completely empty his bowels https://www.indeleiderstrui.nl/nieuws/giro-ditalia/228743/bizarre-voorbereiding-giro-tijdrit-campenaerts-darmspoeling-vlak-voor-start "One can easily lose 200 grams like that, meaning I'd have to put out over a Watt less of power". You're welcome for this bit of info.
  20. Yeah I am behind on reading threads (there's probably 40+ still unread) and was way behind on watching a ton of sports (watching the 8 Hours of the Slovakia Ring on TV right now actually ) and you know, some studying, so I kind of missed what started Thanks man, I'll try and keep up now
  21. Gail Devers in the commentary box casually mentioning her brother died a few months ago and the commentator really didn't know how to handle that bomb being dropped.
  22. Where can I see spoiler free highlights? I don't know any result yet, I'd like to keep it that way until I saw some highlights, but I'm afraid if I search for it, I'm gonna be spoilered
