  1. I think there's two main reasons to do it daily for big events: 1. It's much less work to keep track of what you've already said and done, because after day X, day X is done and dusted 2. It might be much easier to listen a short one every day than a large one talking about the entire event after a full week

  3. Oh and option A indeed
  4. Possibly one day, although I'm not sure yet about what I may ask a (hopefully) 2022 Olympian if you'd want
  5. Absolutely. I have no clue what Solo did so can't comment on that
  6. I was away all day yesterday and recorded NED - NZL to watch after coming back...dear Lord, that was painful to watch I found myself wondering why I didn't just hit the 'skip 30 seconds' button again and again, possibly it was so boring it made my brain unable to think of that
  7. After 5 of the 8 runners (including her) ran a full 100m only to have to immediately repeat it because of a false start

  9. Which in my opinion was a way more justified penalty than Vettel's penalty. The situations are rather different as well, wouldn't call it consistent. Verstappen went off and steered back on the track where Raikkonen was, Vettel went into the grass and because of that logically lost control for a minute and slid onto the track (where Hamilton could have moved the other way and easily passed him, but alright).
  10. Jumbo-Visma's Tour de France team. No Roglic as support for Kruijswijk after all, although that was kinda expected after his Giro.
  11. Yeah.....I'm going for 10km/h AKA 2:06 (basically)
  12. Oh crap, race week is here Sunday is my first ever half marathon and we've received our start numbers a few days ago. Starting to get a little nervous now
  13. Is it just me or does EPO seem to be making a comeback lately? Loving the retro style.
  14. The database is wonderful, the navigation isn't One would say going to the WTS website ( https://wts.triathlon.org/ ) and clicking on results would show recent WTS results.
  15. Right, managed to get to the Leeds results by clicking on an athlete's name in the Abu Dhabi results mentioned above and then going to Leeds https://www.triathlon.org/results/result/2019_aj_bell_world_triathlon_leeds/336921
  16. Why is it always so hard to find results? https://wts.triathlon.org/results That site would make sense, but all it shows is 2018 and earlier.
  17. Absolutely true. It still says a lot more than matches in 2015, 2011 or (come on) 2007.
  18. The issue is not that Vettel made a mistake, the issue is he got a penalty for nothing. Literally his only other option was to steer himself straight into the wall on the left to (maybe) avoid sliding to the outside. And yeah, those 'fancy' Vettel-beards and 'fancy' Hamilton-haircuts are only making me dislike both of them even more This is pretty much the one time ever I completely agree with Vettel though.
  19. 'A bit harsh' is 'a bit of' an understatement Unbelievable Hamilton got this win for free.
  20. 2007 is even longer ago, the further you go back, the less it means Only last week or something Australia was playing against the Netherlands and it just really was not very good. At all.
  21. That's 8 years ago so says even less Only last week or something they were playing against the Netherlands and it just really was not very good. At all.
  22. If I'm not mistaken, that was 4 years ago.
  23. Australia is just not so strong
  24. Right, I wouldn't know anything about that
  25. In which situations, to be more exact? Because I partially agree, with all kinds of 'quota' being introduced (or at least discussions about it being rather serious) to artificially change the representation of this or that group instead of focussing on the actual qualities per individual.
