  1. Meanwhile in Turkey. Four leading athletes from Jamaica and a runner from Nigeria have announced that they are in the process of changing their citizenship. They are: Stona (discus throw, Jamaica) - Olympic champion in Paris 2024. Campbell (shot put, Jamaica) is a bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympics. Pinnock (long jump, Jamaica) is the current world and Olympic vice-champion. Hibbert (triple jump, Jamaica) is the world record holder in the U20 age group and a two-time medalist at the U20 World Championships. Ofili (track, Nigeria) is the world record holder in the 150-m.
  2. And now what was expected became true. FIE allowed to participate Velikaya and Egorian. It means all the recommendations from the IOC were thrown away by Usmanov` puppets.
  3. Philipsen withdrew That is a clear eveidence - why breakawat brings safe to peloton. No breakaway - and one of the favourites is lost at the intermediate sprint (
  4. This TDF has a very unusual configuration. GC will be decided at the stage 19 - no high mountains at the stage 20. And no high mountains during the first half of the race. Real face-to-face GC battle may start at the stage 12.
  5. Wow, Katzberg lost 1st place??? O_o And bronze for Kokhan - goog job Mykhaylo!
  6. This guy is incredible )) I've got just 919 )
  7. Sorry! I got this message and thought that my idea has no sense, as I wrote. I made a prediction there. But surely, let`s play here the way you have proposed. I selected Philipsen at the Fantasy Tour. But we can do it starting from tomorrow.
  8. Thank you! So my idea has no sense We can use ready-made solution!
  9. Really difficult tournament for us. But the event is named "Track and Field". So one cannot stay in the top league if has "Field" events at the proper level ony. But even thi squad was fighting to the very end for the final spor against Hungary. By the way, our score against was 1:1 yesterday ) Lost in EAA Team Championships, but won Gloden League in volleyball (will see if it is enough to promote to the nations league).
  10. Ok, so we will pick up 8 riders before the every stage )
  11. @Gianlu33 @heywoodu Super! Let me propose some scoring system and the rules: 1. Prediction of the stage results must be posted at the forum (i suppose, at the prediction contests thread) not later than at the 13:00 (at the day of the respetive stage). 2. You have to pick 8 cyclists and rank them from 1 to 8. These riders may bring you points at this the stage. ..... 3. The winners of the contest are to be defined by the total number of stages. No tie-breaks. P.S. I expect to get some helper for picking riders - so we will avoid of the problem of misspelling.
  12. You have hosted really wonderful tournament. Good games and good job
  13. I have a strange enthusiasm to propose some light prediction contest at TDF 2025. Does anyone want to take part?
  14. Looks like our way to D2 is almost certain
  15. I suppose we will not be relagated after - 3:2 )
  16. This kind of tournament is really cool because everyone has an athlete from his/her country in each discipline. I wonder if any other sport may have the same team type of competition.
  17. I am shocked a little bit. We are doing really well. And it is not about poinst, but about results: 2. Pole Vault Women - SB 5. Pole Vault Men - PB 1. Hammer Throw Men - PB 2. 400m Men - NR ?. Triple Jump Men - PB P.S. Nice to be here again after some hard months.
  18. Quotation from the head of russian ski federation, Elena Vaelbe: "It seems to me that if we dropped a serious bomb in the center of London, everything would be over by now, we would be allowed everywhere."
  19. And here we go! Withe the best practices of elections in russia. Furthermore - Roberto Rivello who chaired voting session did not allow any questions to candidates.
  20. UKRAINE I am not a musician at all so it is rather about cool video ) Brunettes Shoot Blondes - Knock Knock All the credits are under the video at Youtube ) P.S. It it would be about voice I could nominate, but it is not allowed (released in 2022) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aPCl8mcoX8
  21. At least we do not have Krmeliov as candidate (I know he could not stand for the office, but he did not know and wanted to do this )) ) Personally, I do not trust Coventry - a former member of Mughabe government is not a right choice for the Olympic Movement. It is very interesting that russians in public prefer AL HUSSEIN or SAMARANCH. And they are veeeeeery accurate on Coventry. So she may be a real person who will get their money for campaign. Another interesting observation - russian media claim that LAPPARTIENT is a Bach`s choice. They are going to fight against Coe`s election. And the start of this campaign took place when InsideTheGames (now russian-backed) ans SE (affiliated with Alina Kabaev ) shared story about Coe`s problems with nomination. As for me - Coe is a right choice.
  22. I think that Coe is the best of possible candidarures. Top-3 favourites right now are Seb Coe, Samaranch Jr. and Kirsty Coventry. Seb Coe and Samaranch Jr. are expected to be ruled out by the IOC ethic committee (Jr. - is too old). Thus Coventry may have a freeride. And it looks like her candidature was a Plan-B from Bach. And ideal combination to show geogrphic diversity and gender equality. And to keep real power in Bach`s hands.
  23. According to our media the IOC ethic committee sent a letter to 111 IOC members to clarify who is eligible to run for the office of the head of the IOC. And it looks like Sebastian Coe may be not allowed to run for the head of the IOC office since he is a member of the IOC as a head of the World Athletics and his term will be finished in 2027.
