  3. I can provide some details on this. According to the latest stetment by Tarpishchev (president of russian tennis federation): MSingles: Medvedev, Rublev, Khachanov*, Safiullin WSingles: Kasatkina, Samsonova, Aleksandorva, M.Andreeva 2 important notes: - he said nothing about doubles (despite of the high enough ranking position of Zvonareva) - he remarked that this squad will take part if the athltes will be allowed by compete * * by now we know about at least one case of russian tennis player (Khachanov) beeing accused of pro-war activity in soical networks.
  6. Quotes from the captain of the national team (M. Filima) can be found here https://suspilne.media/sport/764483-ukraina-bude-predstavlena-najsilnisim-skladom-na-olimpiadi-2024-u-zinocomu-tenisi-hto-potrapit-v-komandu/
  7. Our federation announced for W. Singles: Svitolina, Yastremska, Kostyuk + request to allow Kalinina or Tsurenko to compete (they have no enough games for national team due to high level of competitivenes). W. Doubles: N. Kichenok + L. Kichenok. And some pair from singles.
  8. Very good evening for Ukraine! I am very happy for Iryna Herashchenko - she had so many 4th places. I really want Olympic podium for her. And Kohan`s progress led him to his first big adult medal. But the next 2 days will be medal-free for us )
  9. She got a small injury few days ago and was not sure tp start or nor.
  10. By the way. Spain tried to protest to get bronze in the race walk. But the result stands.
  11. It looks like Live results system "is slowly dying"...
  12. Bronze medal and Olympic quota for Olyanovka!
  13. I'am not sure. No confirmation from Samoa in the document. So C1 is still can be reallocated.
  14. Russians announced their squad for the Olympic games in Paris including 12 people. They did it before the qualification dedaline so the rankings are not finalized and it is to early to predict possible quotas transfer to ceretain athleyes. So we have an update of the list of possible reallocations. Let me remid that the surnames and reasons are not my own but were officially sent to the IOC by Ukrainian authorities. 15. Our media got confirmation of Konotop`s quota from our Weightlifting federation several days ago. It is not clear from the message whether was confirmed after the anti-doping adjustments or before them.
  16. Khm, if someone reads - I have added the most recent direct quote on communication with Bach. On the 25.05.24 Olena Hovorova (advisor of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine) posted message on this. https://www.facebook.com/olenagovorovakyiv/posts/122149886438205596?ref=embed_post I have added links to the source documents to the first post
  17. Practically it makes no sence - for example. the IF sends entries for C2. The IOC`s Board board says: the 1st person is OK, the 2nd - is not OK. The same may happen during the Olympics. So that first athlete will sprint alone in C2? )
  18. Good point. But at the time it is his own decision not to resist to this pressure, but to manipulate with the facts to legitimize what they want. (I think it is not so obvious - what happens if russian money and russians have a free hand in some area - I will prepare a post with an example this and send them to Politics topic). I just have to sress that the reasons of the reallocation in the table are from the documents presented by our NOC and Ministry - so they represent position of Ukarine and show what we expect from the IOC officially. I would like to discuss one more interesting reason for reallocation mentioned not so often - russian athletes having training camps at the occupied territories. Several athletes like Nayfonov had this. In my oppinion, it is a clear reason not be allowed to go to Paris. Benefiting from stolen properties is declared illegal in almost all systems of law.
  19. @Jur @Rafa Maciel I still think that Bach is a men who destroyed the IOC as institution and brought it to autocracy (this attracts him to autocratic leaders). Thus it will not be an institutional decision, it will be his own decision - and he will find arguments to support it whatever decision it will be. Thus it does not really matter what is written in the documents (
  20. Yes, and AIBA allowed them to compete under their flag. The IOC does not force IFs to follow recpmmendations. But notable moment - the case of Sadulaev. UWW allowed him to compete and IOC did nothing to change this. But before the Olympic qualification tournament UWW and russians got info that Sadulaev will not be allowed to go to Paris anyway. So UWW quickly declared him ineligible to allow russians change entries and compete for quota with another athlete. This case shows that decisions of IFs are only for their own competitions.
  21. I understand the logic your arguments but these recommendations were issued by the IOC for other international federations. So they may follow them in their way. But these rules were not designed for the Olympics itself. The concept of russian athletes participation appeared later and they were marked not Authorized Neutral Athletes (as for example FIG marks them) but Individual Neutral Athletes
