  1. Or make an "OFF TOPIC - Trump-free politics thread"
  2. The annual "Oh yeah, I've forgot this was part of the start of the year"-moment just struck me Good to see Swedish participation, but I don't think this will be the year that I follow.
  3. I still prefer the pursuit, but this is pretty much the only stage where I don't feel that the mass start is bad.
  4. He is still threatening with war crimes. Somebody else doing it does not make it right. The Germans bombing London and other british cities didn't make the bombing of Dresden (and other cities) less of a crime. It is legal to defend yourself. That could be by hitting military installations that are able to hit you. NOT by attacking the people! And "The USA wants no more threats!"... Yeah... Let's just threaten you to not threaten us And once again. He is only writing this on twitter to show how he is the big, strong leader, and showing off with you being prepared to do war crimes, hitting the people (that you apparently very much respect) is not the right thing to brag about! It would be actions worthy of a trip straight to Hague (and don't get me wrong, Soleimani and many others should have been sent there a long time ago)! Iran knows very well what the US is capable of and knows very well that he is ready to use force. Bragging about it on Twitter doesn't change that the slightest bit! I honestly don't think I've been this disgusted by Trump before (and that says a lot).
  5. I think Dunadan means when calculating the points from a multi-member jury giving the 1st place more in the "internal" voting.
  6. Meanwhile Ebba Andersson won't be at the start line due to a cold
  7. But then why the b***** F*** does he feel the need to tell everybody on Twitter that he is ready to commit war crimes? And just after he has told that he respects the Iranian people and their heritage... That he is apparently ready to attack? There are plenty of ways to reach Iran. Twitter is simply NOT one of the right ones. Just makes me think of Crocodile Dundee
  8. BT Gold (voted by the athletes): The Men's National Handball team Sports Name of the Year: Mads Pedersen Coach of the Year: Casper Jørgensen (track cycling national team) Olympic Hope: Tobias Bjerg And the new member of Danish Sports Hall of Fame: Mikkel Kessler Should be the most interesting.
  9. Did 6,5k (may be a few 100m shorter as my phone isn't the most precise on that point) in just about 33 minutes. Much better than the 5k that I did the 30th, but the 10k is still a bit away (even though today's pace was faster than what I would do for a 10k). But a very satisfying test before the real training starts monday.
  10. By breaking a bunch of international laws, at least ...
  11. While everybody's looking forward to WWIII, Denmark is still focusing on football
  12. Can't decide whether I should laugh or cry. You're saying that we should go to actual Intellectuals and in the same post you share a tweet from Mike Cernovich?
  13. Come on. They've made some decent music!
  14. To be fair, we still don't know the registration deadline, meaning that if it's in more than 2 months, there are no problems
  15. Well. Leaving for my New Years celebration now. Have a great night! :D
  16. Damn those Brazilians. All they want is to conquer the world? I'm planning for that one and maybe another of the Winter Races (it's a series of 4) and most likely a 16km about a month before the half.
  17. You cheater! Didn't go for the New Years run today BTW, which felt like the right decision as my 5km yesterday felt way tougher than it should (damn you Christmas food). Did however manage to do 10k just before christmas, so I guess I'll be ready in time for the 10km race I'm considering (jan 26)
  18. In Denmarks it can be sold from December 15th an legally fired 27 December to 1 January, but yeah, much people doesn't seem to care as soon as they buy it (and of course there's sadly also som illegal fireworks) and yeah, it's tough to stop it.
  19. Well. Another piece of music for the New Year. For me the poem Ring out, Wild Bells, is a major part of the New Year celebration. For my family the last thing before the bells ring is watching the New Year celebrations from Skansen in Stockholm, which ends with a Swedish translation of the poem (usually timed to perfection). I haven't watched it live the last years, but the poem is still magnificent and for me, this is the best musical rendition (though there are some great, more classical choral renditions as well):
