Yup. So far the focus has been on getting to the 10km and next week will also be focusing on that race, but then it's about slowly putting on more distance. I am considering going for a 5:30-pace sunday, but I'll make the decision after the next couple of runs (tuesday's 10km was 5:13-pace, but once again I don't trust the GPS completely).

Managed to do my first half marathon this week... Well, three runs this week at 23,7km at total. Now I just have to be able to do it in one run But generally things are moving on very well with my first 10km of the year tuesday and 8 km today. Next 10 coming up in a week where I've registered for my first race of the year.

A terrible 2nd half by Iceland (not that Hungary was bad in any way) finished it. First time since 2005 that we don't advance! Can't blame anybody but ourself. Now let's destroy Russia and be back on top in Tokyo!

It is withough doubt questionable how much difference the debate wille make (Buttigieg gained about 1,6 points nationally after the october debate - haven't seen numbers on the november and december debates). And yes, California is earlier and will actually mean something this year, but it's still pretty much all focus Iowa for almost all candidates (and pundits). I could absolutely see a big focus on California after Iowa (and maybe NH), but right now, not so much!

Are you still seriously considering the California polls? It's all about Iowa and NH right now for pretty much all candidates (if your name isn't Tom Steyer or Michael Bloomberg). But 10 points? Where are you seeing that? The one I see says 3. Let's see after tonight's debate if it makes any changes. Sanders' numbers are moving up, but a lot of voters are yet to decide.

Oh dear ...

Well. I've watched one and hope for 2 more before the Oscars (Jojo Rabbit and The Irishman). But pretty much the expected list (from what I've read) while other categories were more surprising.

I'm rather impressed that a movie that is "Meh" can get 7/10. Personally I'm at 8 or 9 (just watched it and was very pleased)

It's still rather questionable information. Doesn't seem impossible though, and it could very well have been a mistake following the current situation. But it's simply too early to come to any conclusions.
