  11. Yeah. Wasn't selected. Not the first time a song was sent to Melodifestivalen but ended up in another country (we've had a few of those in Denmark as well)

  18. In Denmark we have one designated polling station where you're supposed to vote (each city is split into districts). If you cannot be there during the election day, you can cast your vote earlier. As I'm volunteering as a party member, the parties need a certain number of volunteers at certain stations. The spots at the station where I'm supposed to vote had been filled when I volunteered. Therefore I cannot vote sunday as I cannot leavy the polling station to go and vote where I'm supposed to (would take 1½ hour or so). Last time I volunteered, I could vote the same day as I was the same place as I was supposed to vote and could therefore take a quick break to vote myself if I wanted (though I voted before back then as well).

  22. Well. General election in Denmark has been set for 5th of june, meaning that we'll have 2 elections withing about 1½ week (European Parliament may 26) We have 13 parties fighting for the 175 Danish seats. 4 of these aren't in the parliament at the moment, the Christian Democrats who haven't been elected since 2001, 2 new right wing parties "The New Right" and "Hard Line" (a party with some nazi tendencies, who only just got approved) and lastly Klaus Riskær Pedersen, lead by a man with the same name who is mainly known for a fraud case. It does seem very likely that at least one of the right wing parties (who makes the current ones seem very main stream) will get elected. It's a rather chaotic time where it doesn't look that certain how things will work out, but it will be interesting to be a part of!
