Though I do agree about the US (but that is mainly due to the terrible idea of First Past the Post), I would say that zero options for 160 years isn't really true. At least Wallace and Roosevelt should be mentioned as actual alternatives to the two parties in presidential elections (though they were former members). You could even mention Perrot and John Anderson. And as mentioned, there are independents in the senate and independent/third-party congressmen/-women aren't really unheard of, though it is indeed on the decline.

I don't think they'll cancel or move an event this early. I would though be surprised if they don't consider moving it (especially as it's in Wuhan), maybe even already considering potential hosts (should be a bunch of potential hosts who could put it up fairly quick). Give it a bit more time, I would say.

Considering that my GPS is off by about 50m/km most normal excercise runs areat about 2 hour pace, so yeah Today I just got competitive when feeling great after a few km following the pace without trouble. No doubt that I need to focus more on following in the future when the distances go up (starting next week), but really the pace is my weakness. Sometimes it it goes up and down quite a bit.

Another race beating my target pace by quite a bit. Followed the 5:30-pace for a bit more than 3 km but then upped it a bit finishing at just above 53 minutes meaning a 5:18 average. Pretty satisfied but it's very clear that I still have a long way to that half marathon as I really didn't have much left in the tank. But once again my gps showed its problems when it was half a km ahead halfways. It did stay there though, so 10,57km at 5:03 average according to my phone

Feels more and more like Sook won't make the Olympics. Really hoping for something from one of our Olympic hopefulls. Would be great to qualify in something but the "usual" sports, but even though we're showing talent in several sports they seem to be lacking the consistency needed to qualify. There are still hopes, but they need to start moving.

Wouldn't mind that I see about 30-35 possible medals in total. About medals in 1/3 are usually a decent way to look at it, which would mean 10-12. Lower than that would mean that things won't quite go our way.

And Denmark under 10 medals But yeah. Still mainly a funny thing to look at

A Sanders/Bloomberg ticket sounds hilarious! But would destroy any hope of beating Trump (Sanders on an independent ticket would do so in general). And well, gains? Too early to call. The polls have really been going everywhere the last week. All (notable) candidates could pick a poll and say that it shows them gaining. Sure there are tendencies for both Yang and Bloomberg going up (Especially Bloomberg) but really not nearly enough momentum.
