  1. joining the already qualified boats from and (to both the A Final and the Olympics) and therefore making the final and getting an Olympic spot in the women's Quadruple Sculls: / / / more quota will be awarded in the B Final...
  2. non Olympic boats... men's Lightweight Single Scull, making the Final A: / / / / / women's Lightweight Single Scull, making the Final A: / / / / /
  3. well, not a bad day for Italy so far... but that 4th place in the women's lightweight double sculls hurts, as it's not promising at all the poor result of our men's Four (despite getting at least the final and therefore the Olympic quota)...losing Matteo Lodo in the crew hurt them a lot... waiting for the women's quadruple sculls (very slim chance to make the Olympics, though) and the men's Eight (I'm not confident at all in this boat, but I still hope they can make the final, even if it's gonna be really difficult)...
  4. the 6 boats making the final and getting an Olympic spot in the women's Four. They are: / / / / / more quota will be awarded in the B Final...

  7. not in the sport itself (unless you're so idiot to shoot your own foot or so)... but there's always the chance you get sick/injured outside the shooting range, like it happens to all human beings...gotta take this into consideration if you are leading a professional/top level activity...you can't be surprised if something normally unexpected happens...
  8. and here they are the 6 boats making the final and getting an Olympic spot in the men's Lightweight Double Sculls. They are: / / / / / more quota will be awarded in the B Final...
  9. so, now we have the 6 boats making the final and getting an Olympic spot in the women's Pair. They are: / / / / / more quota will be awarded in the B Final...
  10. and the men's lightweight double does it, too! but it was a lot more difficult than expected...Spain, Poland and also China (who missed out on a place in the final in the end) made our life really complicated throughout the entire race...
  11. yeah! first Olympic spot for Italy! and it comes from a women's boat! the women's pair!
  12. if McIntosh is unable to start in Tokyo (for whatever the reason might be), they can pick whoever they want to replace her, provided the new shooter has the MQS in all the disciplines they want him/her to start... quotas are for NOCs, who can do what they want, even asking to switch the disciplines between one where they actually won the spot and one where they missed out (if I remember correctly, there's only the limit of 1 switch per gender)...

  17. I guess that they're a little bit biased (but just a little)... imho, after watching the fights, he didn't lost on purpose even the match vs Casse (despite knowing that Muki was already qualified to the gold medal match)... but the only one who really knows what he actually did is Saeid himself...we will never know the "real truth", but just interpretations of it...
  18. Chinese Taipei, if you don't want to fuel a diplomatic war...
