  1. well, even if it's endogenous EPO, there are still limit values that can't be broken... if her values are beyond the established limit, she gets DSQ, otherwise she gets cleared from any accusation... of course, she's going to hire a bunch of lawyers that will make it a lot more complicated than it actually is to try and get her out of troubles even if she's guilty...but that's another story...
  2. It doesn't matter that much, because the question is always between endogenous and esogenous kind of EPO (and other injectable medicines that can be produced also by the human body, in different types and measure)... and normally you get DSQ only when they're sure they've found esogenous EPO, which isn't allowed in any form and in any dosage...

  7. still, if Marta & Viki had won the match, we wouldn't be here thinking about the rules...
  8. if we only had a serious wrestling federation (and NOC and President of the Republic)... looking at this result, with a decent draw (which means basically avoiding the IRI vs RUS quarter), "our" Kudiiamagomedov could have won at least the silver medal quite easily... but our burocrats are just...our burocrats...

  13. updated after this morning's repechage rounds...
  14. probably they didn't even know this rule...I'm pretty sure they thought about winning (to close the door to every other option) or, at worst, they had to count on the set & then point ratio... otherwise, if they knew that rule, they Marta, Viktoria and all of their coaches are just a bunch of idiots (hopefully they will qualify in any case through the WR, but if this was their only chance, I just can't believe they made such a "tactical" mistake)... p.s. fivb rules for tie-breaking suck big time! once again...
  15. ops...no, the posts above are in the wrong thread...

  21. game officially over... Israel now really have one and a half foot in Tokyo...they can just waste it by themselves...
  22. no way they can do it... meanwhile in the other match played tonight, the Netherlands b. Spain 6-2 now, if Israel win tonight's match, they only need one more success in the last 2 games against Czech Republic (tomorrow) and/or South Africa (Sunday) to mathematically earn the Olympic spot reserved to the European teams, without even caring of what Italy and the Netherlands do in their last matches...
