  1. What an emotional win for Portela
  2. Record breaking 30th appearance at the Worlds for the Bronzed Adonis BTW i need the name of the woman, who is hosting the Sky Sports studio
  3. Time for the annual Christmas spectacle
  4. Not that surprising. Elison stated that he would not hold the tournament without fans and given the situation in the US, it was certain they wouldn't give him an exception.
  5. Damn, the two Italians threw the win away..
  6. Congratulations on a second big Crystal Globe for Sasha Bolshunov
  7. That was a brilliant, brilliant move by Stoeckl on the final jump. And Granerud with one of the most impressive jumps i have seen in the last couple of years. Over 250 points from a single jump from 3 gates lower is astonishing After the heartbreaking loss yesterday, he just pulled the whole team for that Gold. On the other hand, the German coach on pure adrenaline probably, made the critical error of keeping gate 10 for Geiger.. If it was 11, he probably gets to 228, gets the bonus and it's much closer in the end.
  8. That could be said for their alpine and jumping teams as well, but they are competing in a full schedule... It seems only the cross-country ones are with special needs.
  9. Well enjoy retirement i guess. Really wanted to finish the match, but it looked one way all the way. At least is not round 5
  10. Well, he is the IBF mandatory after an 8 match winning streak, since the Klitschko loss. It's not like one of those arranged fights that the champs promoter makes to build his client. But still, if he manages to finish the match, i will take it as a success, even though they will never give him the win on points.
  11. After 3 years of waiting these two are finally meeting. There was the usual press-conference/weigh in shenanigans the previous days. Joshua looked more pissed than usual, maybe because he wants this match to finally be over, since Kubrat has been taunting him ever since the planned 2017 fight. Let's see, if he can make it further than the Klitschko fight and not make a fool of himself.
  12. If the damn UWW website starts working properly, you can watch it here: https://unitedworldwrestling.org/event/individual-world-cup As for the time,it all depends on how the previous matches go. I couldn't find the mat schedules, so if anyone has it, please share.
  13. First matches about to start Much better competition, than what i initially expected. Looks like a lot of countries want to have a competitive tournament, after the failed season this year, to see how their preparation for the qualifiers is going.
  14. Then another victory for italian knockout strategy 101
  15. [hide] Main Round December 10th - December 15th, 2020 12 Nations, 2 Groups, the 1st and 2nd Nation from each Group will qualify for the Semifinals Group 1 Date & Time (GMT +1) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 December 10th 2020 Montenegro 3 Sweden December 10th 2020 Denmark 2 Spain December 11th 2020 France 1 Russia December 11th 2020 Denmark 2 Sweden December 13th 2020 Montenegro 6 Russia December 13th 2020 France 3 Spain December 15th 2020 France 2 Sweden December 15th 2020 Denmark 2 Russia December 15th 2020 Montenegro 3 Spain Group 2 Date & Time (GMT +1) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 December 10th 2020 Netherlands 3 Germany December 10th 2020 Croatia 5 Norway December 12th 2020 Hungary 2 Romania December 12th 2020 Netherlands 3 Norway December 14th 2020 Hungary 3 Germany December 14th 2020 Croatia 2 Romania December 15th 2020 Croatia 2 Germany December 15th 2020 Hungary 8 Norway December 15th 2020 Netherlands 5 Romania [/hide]
  16. Yeah, Atalanta just put Ajax to sleep this match. A perfectly executed tactic, if this was their intention.
  17. Good to see former Liverpool legend John Barnes trying to give some wisdom. At least for those who can understand it.
  18. So Romanian people can't talk to each other in their native language, when they are not in Romania? This seems far more racist, than what the referee said in the game.
  19. Can't argue with that. And yet, no one wants to replace that fool.. By the way, what did he say about Belarus?
  20. Last time Slovakia and Slovenia were in a group together, they both qualified for the World Cup
  21. Pathetic changes all around, but this was to be expected, since this organisation has been on a downhill trajectory for 8 years.
  22. Expected outcome for us, after all, this is what you get from Pot 4. It's sad how mediocre we have become. We have more WC appearances than all other pot 4 teams combined... We are playing Italy every second qualifications Out of all the big nations, we have the somewhat best results in the last 15 years against them, so maybe it won't be the beating that the other ones would have served us. Out of the rest, it's interesting that we got teams, which we don't usually play, Swiss last match was 2011, NI in 2001, and with Lithuania we don't have an official match. If we manage to pass NI for third it would be a success (sadly).
  23. It was sarcasm Like, it's 2024, The Olympic Games are starting in Paris and it's a matter of life or death to have those 3 sports, otherwise there wouldn't be any interest or knowledge that these Games are happening in France. All this marketing ploy for "host interest" is so ludicrous, that it presents the OG, as some obscure event and we need to popularize it to get some attention.
  24. Who knew that France requires break spinning, bike juggling and surfing in the Pacific Ocean to bring interest in the country. The IOC should really think of their marketing strategy, otherwise the Games could run unnoticed in France.
  25. A lot of people have watched Vikings I still haven't watched 6 A, but will probably start in a couple of days to be all caught up before the final episodes. I'm interested to see how it will end. This is one of the very few modern shows that went trough drastic cast/character changes over the seasons and still kept a high quality for me.
