  1. Good start, i'm liking what i'm seeing so far from Spain.
  2. Why is Busquets playing as centre defender
  3. Wrong, Spain are my favourites for the title, so they are staying for some time.
  4. The land of the rising sun The second goal was so untypical for Germany. Neuer who usually runs to the centre stood like a statue on the goal line for this situation
  5. And we have a goal, from the usual way, through a penalty
  6. The samurais throwing everything, including their bodies, infront of the goal
  7. I didn't find it boring, just two very equal sides, who were more concerned not to lose in a tough group. Like i mentioned before the start of the WC, i expected a lot of the (smaller) teams to be more balanced then usual, which is indeed happening, excluding the ENG and FRA matches.
  8. A tendency people here have picked up - European teams have been outnumbered in the number of fans so far. Tunisia had much more fans then Denmark, Mexico had more fans then Poland and now Morocco have way more fans then Croatia. The TV crew was bombarded by Moroccans and was looking in front of the stadium for Croats to get their opinion before the match as well and could barely find any.
  9. And now the 4 more interesting groups start.
  10. That was a quick turnaround.
  11. Aussie, Aussie Oy Oy Oy
  12. I see now, why our commentator was repeating, that the Polish coach is known as the Polish Mourinho in his home country. That was a very Mourinho-esq bland 0:0 defense match from him.
  13. Clearer penalty, then some other we have seen, but that was an atrocious kick from Lewa. The nerves got him like they eventually do every big name. Plus Ochoa shows why he is a legend
  14. I thought Lewandowski was going to play at this World Cup.
  15. MEX - POL next, let the better team win
  16. Total knockdown for Argentina and things have become very, very interesting in this group. Tonight's match is going to be important if someone gets the win. Still nothing over though for ARG, they can win the next 2 matches and safely go through. The SA players fighting like their home was on the line, no fear at all. Every small team should play this way. And an interesting fact, Argentina were 2 matches away from beating Italy's record of consecutive matches without a defeat. They weren't beaten from 2019 (?) i think. It's an insignificant stat for the Argentinian people, but who would have thought the streak would end against Saudi Arabia. I was expecting them to take it from this group, but not this time.
  17. Messi, Messi, Messi Finally something exciting happens. Let's see how will ARG react.
  18. Indeed, i even sing it to myself before going to sleep.
  19. No, just for sporting reasons, nothing more. I would say even only football related stuff and not correlating to other sports, as i watch a ton of darts and snooker and like many other athletes from different sports. I just don't like the attitude that's been brought from fans, players, the media, the constant racism baiting, especially when they come eastern of Austria. Plus i have a dislike to the rise of their super league and the rise of people here in BG shouting in your face "Oh the Premier League, best, best, best, i only watch that, top players, top clubs etc.." As a person, that became a fan in the 2000 to Italy, Juventus and Seria A it's a hard pill to swallow. In that time they were the fourth strongest league more or less. Maybe they are petty reasons for many, but for me it's just the way i feel.
  20. Just like in any sport you have teams you like and those you don't and England is on top of that list.
  21. Now both teams can beat England and we can have a happy ending
  22. So teams are going to play extra time every match, as to get used to the extra, extra time in the knockout phase.
  23. That old fossil Bale did it again. Totally baited the defender out of a nothing situation.
  24. You know they always say the sold tickets numbers. Some of them probably haven't even travelled. Our reporters are saying that there have been many Wales supporters who weren't let into the stadium in this match.
