Everyone in Brazil was expecting gold from Isaquias, but silver is an amazing result anyway. First ever Olympic medal for Brazil in canoeing. I have to say I'm happier with Moldova's medal, though. I don't know why, but I always cheer for Moldova in every sport competition. Serghei is an amazing athlete and I'm glad he has an Olympic medal again, after his gold medal at the 2014 Youth Olympics.

Hahaha, the Chapolin dolls! They are from El Chapulin Colorado, a Mexican sitcom from the 70s and 80s which is very popular in Brazil. It's nice to have Mexico being part of this moment, somehow.

It depends. I was born in Rio and I lived there until I was 29, then I moved to a new city at the Southern part of the country. In Rio, temperatures can get unbelievably high in January and early February, with no rain at all. Then in late February and March it rains a lot.

It's actually winter in here. It bugs me that we have the Summer Games during winter time.

I didn't watch it. I was too nervous. From 2013 on, every major beam final has been very disappointing, and it seems like this one follows this recent tradition, unfortunately. Most of these girls are too young. Saraiva and Hernandez are only 16, Biles and Onyshko are pretty young too... I hope they improve in the near future. I can't say I'm not happy with 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal, though. This is more than I could ever ask. And there's even one more chance for Brazil tomorrow. I can't wait!
