  1. What a day! Two medals for Brazil, one medal for Switzerland and one medal for Germany! But the crowd really made me feel ashamed of being Brazilian. Such rude, disgusting people.
  2. I'm not trying to defend Neymar. I dislike him for a lot of reasons, and I will support Honduras if Brazil even wins this match (I don't think they will win). But Colombia has to step up their game. Every single match the Colombian players need to strike other players in order to keep playing. This is absurd. I know that we are supposed to see players getting in contact, but Colombia always bothers me by playing like this. Every. Single.Time.
  3. Rough week as it may have been, out football team is still playing. I guess by now the Argentinian players must be watching football at home, right?
  4. He would whine a lot less if Colombia decided to play soccer instead of wrestling.
  5. Yes! Honduras will fight for a medal! See, stupid Maradona? They don't play baseball. They play soccer, and they're better at it than Argentina at the 2016 Olympics. Take that!
  6. What's the story behind Moradi? I read he was banned for doping few years ago.
  7. Now all I need is Louis Smith with a gold medal in Artistic Gymnastics and all my wishes for the gymnastics competition at the 2016 Olympics will be fulfilled! Oh, and Flávia Saraiva with a medal as well, but I think this will be impossible...
  8. YEEEESSS!! Finally an Olympic gold medal for Belarus in gymnastics! Finally!!! Congratulations,
  9. What a score for Hancharou!!!!! I don't think Gao can beat that score!
  10. 2014 Youth Olympics champion Dylan Schmidt from New Zealand qualified for the final.
  11. The fight for the gold medal is gonna be GOOD! Hancharou, Dong and Gao will be very close. Trampoline is really making up for predictable and boring competitions in Artistic Gymnastics som far. I would never think I could get so excited with trampoline gymnastics.
  12. Rafael Andrade also had a bad day. He had no chance in hell to qualify. Why did he get nervous? There was no pressure on him. No one was expecting anything. This is the problem with many Brazilian athletes: even when they have no chance to make it, they feel they are under pressure. With all due respect to him, what a wasted quota. Other athletes could have benefited a lot more from the Olympic experience.
  13. Diogo Abreu... He was fourth after compulsories, but he botched his second routine and will finish last among 16 competitors. Tough luck for Portugal.
  14. I didn't expect much from anyone else, but Melo/Soares have had a fantastic year and everybody was counting on them. Well, I guess there's no use to complain now.
  15. The argument will probably end today when Brazil gets eliminated by Colombia. But the villain will change sides.
  17. No medal in tennis for Brazil has got to be the biggest disappointment of the Olympics for us so far. The Olympics have been pretty rough for Brazil until now. I was not expecting stellar results, but this is way below my most modest expectations
  18. Nice! There was an article published a couple of days before the 2015 Worlds by a journalist too afraid too cheer for Schooling because he was afraid he could jinx the guy, and he could hardly believe Schooling could get a medal at the World Championships at all (though he wanted it so, so bad). I can imagine how this journalist feels now. He must be thrilled!
  19. Schooling was a surprising bronze medalist at last year's world championships and now he is the Olympic champion. Crazy.
  20. I'm sad for Belarus, but they are the favorites for a medal tomorrow with Hancharou. I don't think he will earn gold, but bronze is quite achievable.
  21. I got crazy when typing. LOL. I even mention Rosie is the champion again! Hahaha. Crazy final. So rewarding to watch! Loved every minute of it.
  22. Great Britain got their first ever Olympic medal in Trampoline Gymnastics! Rosie is the Olympic champion again! Great final! Great, great final! Belarus didn't get a medal this time, though... Still, great final!
  23. Rosie is assured to get a medal! Congratulations, Canada!!!
  24. I'm here to show my support for Rosie MacLennan! She qualified in third for the women's trampoline final. Go, Rosie!
  25. Piatrenia is in first place momentarily! This could be Belarus' first gold medal in Gymnastics if she repeats this performance once again in a few minutes! What a shock!
