that could happen in fantasy games thread for example for the people who can and want to play it. nothing to do with music or art

all ideas are good, may be everyone could choose a multidisciplinary team from his/her country involving a singer, a dancer, a musician (instrument), a sportsman/sportwoman, an artist , then we have to look what could be the competition about and the format

something like Euro 2020 in multiple venues may be or no specific venues to make it easier also something like a Youth Olympics

it would be a Festival of Music like edition but with rules and awarding points i like the idea .. and yes they should be countries which never had the chance of participating in TISC or may be those who participated just once . I also like the "secret choice" part

your song was great , at first listening i didn't focus much on the lyrics, but the second time i loved it and it was my second favourite after Hungary

it's just a great song, in all aspects, you could listen to it all day and never get bored could have had my 12 points if there wasn't too much competition with other really nice songs

why underestimating songs in your native language i'm pretty sure you have almost equal chances if you don't forget to post the lyrics translation in english so most ppl here would unterstand it in your case you're lucky you can find hungarian songs translated in english , i didn't even find the tunisian song lyrics so i had to listen and relisten to write them correctly in arabic before translating them in english

OR simply because non-english songs are in some languages not all Totallympics users are familiar with, that's why i want to stress on the lyrics and their translation so that every song would have equal chances not just because i don't understand the lyrics or the language that i tend to eliminate the song . in my case i spent too much time searching for translation for songs lyrics translation just because not all users posted the lyrics or their translation . Not everyone takes much time as i do

I love this contest i'm in love with my 12 points song since the first random listen i knew it Btw this contest made me want to learn many new languages

Strangely i spent less time (few hours only) on the 6 groups of 4 teams than the preliminary round of 5 groups of 4 I have my top 12 in random order, just need to order and make a small playoff for the best 3rds to get my 3 reserves

Never been so confused in a TISC i have 26 songs thought i had my 24 finalists but 2 other songs came back as a result i had to make an additional round between 4 teams and finally i have my 6 groups of 4 teams lol

After 3rd 4th and 5th listen with the lyrics(preliminary Group stage Rounds ) I have my 10 qualified nations to accompany the 14 Finalists to get my 24 Final stage Group stage (draw needed with pots A B C D ) As a break i watched all the videos lol i found out that for some songs the meaning of the song and lyrics is better expressed on the video .. in some other songs the video confirmed my first opinion and helped me eliminate them

I still haven't watched videos lol video could be a plus or minus in case of a Tie but not necesseraly

If they are the best they should be already among the 14 finalists I'm sure we will have strong groups in te Final stage in that case there will also be an allover ranking by points not to miss any great song to fail to be among the best 12 or at least the last 15

After my second round of listening (audio only) i ended up eliminating 4 songs cutting them to 34. 14 already won a bye to the Final Stage (6 groups of 4 teams) waiting for other 10 nations among 20 having to qualify from Preliminary round (5 Groups of 4)
