  1. Well, last year they won a bronze at the Europeans (after Krajewski tested positive), so it's not exactly always. But it was somewhat frustrating day for them indeed.
  2. Standings after cross-country... Ireland Spisak Japan
  3. OH MY GOD, Ireland is holding both individual and team medals over night.
  4. Jonelle & Classic Moet prove to be the best XC combination in the World. As if anyone still needed a proof of that. would for sure be in medal position if Clarke Johnstone didn't withdrew.
  5. Kristina Cook didn't have a double clear.
  6. Shane. Sadly no team medals for AUS/NZL.
  7. Selena and Woody. There is simply an X factor about that combination for me.
  8. That's really cool. I also like the story behind Daniela Moguel. Apparently she knew nothing about horses, but got inspired after seeing a picture of Karen O'Connor jumping a water fence. Today she is competing at WEG with Karen as her coach.
  9. Japan will likely be in top 5 after this. Incredible, this is really not even their best team at the moment.
  10. I can't believe it actually happened for Ireland today. So happy for them!
  11. Tim Price jogs into the finish, well inside the time. That's what happens when you jump every fence in the same rhytm.
  12. Surprisingly fast for Emma McNab, but still it's very anti-Australian to have a team combination whose weakest link is XC.
  13. It's a complete no-brainer indeed. While it's nice that there aren't any 180 degree turns in long routes (which just kill the horses' energy), the course is generally way too narrow.
  14. Very bad course building. British are heading for gold, and yet none of them even thought about jumping the water falls. "Long" route is not time consuming at all...
  15. Couple of epic saves, but sadly it didn't end well for Jessie.
  16. Nasty fall for Swindells, her horse continued on her own. Hopefully he will be caught soon.
  17. Maybe something I had for lunch.
  18. Also, aside from Burton and Boyd, none of the problems that occurred are super surprising.
  19. But in both cases you could be back in the game if other teams make mistakes. People just don't get that eventing = cross-country, for the most part. Dressage results staying over the weekend is not how it's supposed to look.
  20. Astier Nicolas is the new individual leader, but is not part of the French team. Unbelieveable frontal crash for Plombon. Ended up in a ditch, but they're alright.
  21. I don't about that, I'm following it here.
  22. Canada made an epic improvement in cross-country riding since Rio.
  23. Ok, then a fall in gymnatics. Or a missed dive in diving.
