  5. Why don't you become TiSC-News editor then? Spots are always open.
  6. What's next, a plea of insanity? Though that sounds like a valid argument for the Tammjarvs of this World, who were apparently doing blood doping for years just to get a couple of points-scoring WC results...
  7. Downhill Racer is an intriguing film I've stumbled on. It's about alpine skiing, and it has pictures from Wengen/Kitzbuehel, and the characters are discussing start bibs and ruts. Plus it stars Robert Redford which is interesting.
  8. Two of the top Austrians suddenly getting health problems. Yeah, not weird at all.
  9. Well yes, according to them, KJT is supreme to Thiam in many events.
  10. Oh no, so you have to use your memory then.
  11. Erfurt? Meaning the name of a city or what?
  12. Are you sure that's still possible? For some reason I thought they scratched that rule this time, but I may be wrong. In any case, not just any of those sprinters can be entered in mountain bike. For that they would need some minimum UCI points (which are not very significant, but it does mean that the likes of Buchli will have to start and finish some MTB race).
  13. 3 if they qualified in team sprint. From those three they can pick 2 for individual events.
  14. Except that Hoogland and Lavreysen are probably much better.
  15. Yes, she declared for Italy last year. She has been living there for some years now. However, she will not be eligible to compete for Italy at this year's European Championships, what pretty much eliminates any chance for Italy to qualify a full team.
  16. February rankings for dressage and eventing are out. Eventing simulation N/A Still no qualification events. Things will finally kick-off this weekend, with qualification events in Florida and Portugal. Dressage simulation Group A - Group B - Group C - Groups D/E - Group F - Group G - Additional - Overview Group A - Denmark should have no trouble with team qualification. When that happens, Finland will take the second spot, with Norway being an outsider. Group B - Great to see Luxembourg leading this competitive group. Two nations from this group should be able to qualify a full team, so that will open things up a bit. Also, I'm quite sure the additional individual spot will eventually be assigned to this group. Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland... All of them want someone in Tokyo... Group C - Georgia is sitting pretty in the first place, but it won't last once the usual suspects start to come in. Too bad, Vaughan is participating at the always competitive Florida circuit. She is doing it the hard way. Ukrainians and Belorussians, who will likely take the available slots, will be hiding at their home shows, until they come to the Europeans and score some miserable 62% or something... Groups D/E - Canada will qualify a team, no doubt, but nevertheless Yvonne Losos is still topping the leaderboard. Dominican spot is basically already secured. No way some non-Canadian could match that. Pujals is probably doing enough to qualify Mexico too. Other than that, Latin America has been quite disappointing so far.. Guatemala is only temporarily here. Argentina and Ecuador surprisingly haven't showed up in Florida this year. A great shame, since the Global Dressage Festival was the perfect opportunity to collect Olympic points (it's basically 12 weeks of competition at the same venue...). Costa Rican rider did show up in Florida, but he dropped to small tour, which counts for nothing, Olympic-wise... Group F - South Africa will hopefully qualify a team. With them gone, second spot will probably end up in Palestine, but watch out for Iran whose rider has improved quite a bit this year. Group G - New Zealand started reasonably well at their National championships. They will however need to make a couple of trips to Australia to solidify their spot... Malaysia is holding the second spot as the only other ranked Group G nation, but nevertheless their rider definitely has a chance. Maybe even to overtake New Zealand eventually. Rankings can be found here, as ever... https://data.fei.org/Ranking/OGRankingsList.aspx
  17. Well, the Netherlands are not sending anyone otherwise. What's the worst that could happen if you ask their permission to compete in the sprint?
  18. I don't really see the point of a bet contest without negative points. That should have been a possibility since the very beginning.
