Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2019

Gebrasy already took part in 2014. Also there was a Russian user entering a song from his band once or twice. -
Hello, there, Tokyo Olympic champions. Jokes aside, 75.9% is an incredible score for a Grand Prix debut. Unbelieveable, almost. This was indeed the long anticipated big tour premiere for this combination that dominted the World championships for 5-, 6- and 7-year old horses.

Figure skating commentator must be the most impersonal and indifferent, but also competent sports commentator ever. I like her.

Make that German top 4. Fernstaedtova is slower than Griebel. No Germany, no German equipment.

Delka slots into 17th.

Looks like it's just another one of those "Kazakhstan raids" that are happening every other day...
-
Meh, Kim Meylemans can apparently only slide well in Konigssee...
-
Brazil disappeared though. Is it possible to appear? I wouldn't be surprised if they skip that event. Our athletes in sports like biathlon are rarely familiar with the inner workings of the federation.
-
German sweep coming up, even without Fernstaedtova.

Equestrian Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
dcro replied to dcro's topic in Equestrian
Fouaad Mirza should have a decent chance in eventing. I suspect that will be his focus this season, and with Australia, New Zealand, Japan already qualified, Group G individual spots are there for the taking. On the other hand, I doubt that Jitendarjit Singh Ahluwahlia will be making any new attempts. He is the 1980 Olympian who came out of nowhere and attempted to qualify in dressage for Rio. -
I know that some people don't like labels, but cultural and historical division is much more relevant than some geography that nobody cares about. For Dixons and Goldstroms of this world, Czechia is very much a part of Eastern Europe (and that's not because of their lack of knowledge in geography...).

Equestrian Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
dcro replied to dcro's topic in Equestrian
There was one promising combination a couple of seasons ago (Gugic & Coeur de Croatie). But that kind of ended abruptly. With no much support to go on, the rider elected to sell the horse rather than campaign it at the championships for which they were already qualified. -

Track Cycling Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
dcro replied to hckošice's topic in Cycling - Track
I guess they probably wanted to allow team pursuit nations to enter someone different for the omnium (of course, only if they are in top 12/13). -
Track Cycling Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
dcro replied to hckošice's topic in Cycling - Track
Yeah, I don't get why they put it like that, but seems like those qualified in team pursuit are not directly qualified for the omnium. In any case, we know that 20/21 is the max number of athletes for the omnium. And since there are 12/13 omnium-only quotas, then only 8 madison nations get their place directly (indeed, presumably those without team pursuit). -
