So it should really be Italy or Saudi Arabia (hopefully Italy)... On the other hand, it seems foolish to just disregard all other bids... It's weird how Italy and Saudi Arabia are suddenly interested in preserving WEG. FEI cried for help for a very long time before they finally started to consider splitting the event.

Yes, I think both should qualify. Eventing and jumping teams are not bad, even if they miss star power. I think Brazil will be the main victim of these Games. They may even end up going home with no qualification at all.

Why are the lower weights given more quotas? It literally doesn't make any sense to give -52 division more quotas than say -75.
