  1. Yeah, that is what I wrote them about. They only have full replays of dressage, and nothing really for eventing and jumping.
  2. Yeah, I got the same useless answer today. "Can you upload full replays of Rio equestrian events? Right now there are only some highlight videos available." - *posts a list of highlights videos*
  3. Not surprised Belgium gave 5 points to Waterloo. Not surprised.
  4. Whatever happened to that Mongolian user from yesterday...?
  5. Apparently only two more WCs will be added for the rankings, while all those farming events originally scheduled will not be included. Good. If there is one thing worse than having points-farming events, then that would be having farming events during a pandemic.
  6. Eritrea, of all places, is now corona-free.
  7. Couldn't the Dutch find a presenter who can speak English without that trademark strong accent? @heywoodu
  8. What are the odds that San Marino regularly gets represented by either SeNhIt or SeRhAt. That is, of course, when Monetta decides to chillax.
  9. Newest member is Sergio Vez. I can remember a Spanish curling medalist of that name...
  10. Right, time for Bundesliga to get record viewership.
  11. Well, as long as it is not about Bicycle Thieves all over again...
  12. By the way, looking at the results from 2005-2010, it seems that was the most colorful period in the history of dressage. Bernadette Pujals, Alexandra Korelova, Silvia Ikle and Kyra Kyrklund were always right up there with the traditional powerhouses. Too bad I didn't follow it back then. These nations, sadly, no longer have such talents. There is only some hope for Finland with Henri Ruoste, who could be a looking for a surprising Top 10 next year...
  13. I can't find a video from 2008, but here is one from 2006 WEG (during which she achieved similar results). Looking at this performance, extended trot and flying changes were fantastic, definite highlights. Extended canter had a great potential too, but clearly she didn't take full risk riding them. Pirouettes were nice and small. Half-passes had a great rhytm and reach, but were not always exactly parallel to the arena boards... On the other hand, passage and piaffe had a good outline, but were often uneven and inconsistent in rhytm. I'd be surprised if they got more than 7/10 from judges at any point. Collected walk was quite poor on that day. But then again, I love the music. Of course, I can't really tell a lot without seeing what the others did... But considering it was their debut at this kind of stage, I wouldn't say the judges got conservative in the face of the unknown...
  14. Slovenians have started flocking in for their holiday homes (already).
  15. Or not... It's in Nevada after all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_Area_51
  16. Well, then it's just weird how heywoodu shared a link to Project-Area51 website.
  17. Wait, did that earthquake strike Area 51? Oh oh. Where is @bestmen?
  18. This gives me a hope that I may not have been the trigger after all...
  19. Antonio Piraino (equestrian, 1968) died on May 6.
  20. All of a sudden... Bernadette Pujals switched allegiance to . Granted, she was born in Spain, but still seems sudden. She has actually earned Tokyo qualification for Mexico, but luckily that one can be transferred to another Mexican competitor... https://www.fei.org/bios/Person/10013217 @mrv86
  21. Shocking news this week... Out of nowhere, Daniel Bachmann Andersen "decided" to leave the Blue Hors stud... With this "decision", he loses all his top horses (including Tokyo hopefuls Zack and Zepter). This sadly means Denmark is no longer a near-lock for a team medal next year. Unbelieveable. I said "decided" and "decision" because I don't believe the official reason for a second. Apparently he left the Blue Hors so that he can start his own horse-training business. Oh, come on! Who in their right mind would give up on a potential Olympic medal to start a business during a freaking coronavirus pandemic?? What the hell! Surely there must be some more sinister reason behind it all. Probably some internal conflict between Daniel and the Blue Hors...
  22. Feeling very confident. Winning fencing + BOTH shooting + taekwondo would be like winning a lottery. If not harder.
  23. I'll eat my shoe if Korea wins 5 golds on Day 1.
  24. I'm afraid that will not happen for a long while (if ever). IOC development team is really not that trustworthy. They proved it time and time again.
  25. It's stupid, really. They usually list married names for athletes in brackets, and I felt smart upon stumbling onto an example where the post-Olympic name was not added...
