  1. Women's 100m seems like the least likely of this list.
  2. It was even worse in Tokyo.
  3. The ban ends in February 2024 and trials aren't until June. If she were banned for the full 24 months it wouldn't end until August.
  4. So USADA reduced her ban so she can return just in time for Paris. 🙄
  5. Myers has been at it again tonight this time setting another age 16 world best in the 3000m: 7:52.06 Jessica Hull also broke the Oceanian record in the 3000m: 8:31.81
  6. McKeown just broke Regan Smith's 200 BK world record at the NSW Open
  7. World Aquatics' new transgender and DSD regulations really are very thorough 👀 https://swimswam.com/world-aquatics-outlines-requirements-for-competing-in-mens-womens-categories/ I guess Lia Thomas won't be going to Paris 2024.
  8. We'll get a first look at what kind of shape the Australians are in at the NSW Open starting on Friday. https://swimswam.com/chalmers-titmus-mckeon-mckeown-more-head-to-nsw-state-open-championships/
  9. The size of Phelps' program increased over a number of years so just because Summer's program has been conservative so far doesn't mean it won't be "Phelps style" in the future.
  10. She'll do the 4x100 free for sure because relays are cheap medals for someone like McIntosh who would be rested from the prelims and she already showed she can manage this double at Comm Games. The schedule in Paris is about as good as one can expect for 5 individuals plus 2 relays.
  11. Summer split 53.3 at Comm Games so is already capable of faster than her 100 Free best.
  12. I'm watching the Aussie stream which has different commentators.
  13. Aussie Cameron Myers just broke Jakob Ingebrigtsen's 16 year old world best in the mile at the Maurie Plant Meet in Melbourne: 3:55.44
  14. Junior World Champs will be in Netanya, Israel this year.
  15. While I think she'll go 2:07 sometime soon I'm not sure it will be in Fukuoka because there's only a single event between 100 back semis and 200 IM final. Maybe World Aquatics will help her out by inserting a few medal ceremonies in between ...
  16. Team Aerials Airleigh Frigo Laura Peel Danielle Scott Moguls Jakara Anthony Matt Graham Jackson Harvey George Murphy Cooper Woods Ski Cross Douglas Crawford Freeski Abi Harrigan (SS)
  17. Team Snowboard Cross Josie Baff Belle Brockhoff Cameron Bolton Adam Lambert Freestyle Snowboard Emily Arthur (HP) Tess Coady (SS BA) Meila Stalker (SS BA) Valentino Guseli (SS BA HP) Scotty James (HP) Jesse Parkinson (SS BA) Snowboard Alpine Millie Bongiorno
  18. Kaylee McKeown is gradually returning to Tokyo form after going 57.93 at the Victorian Open Champs this evening. Also went a big PB (1:06.86) in the 100 breast yesterday which is a good sign for her IMs.
  19. Gidey collapsing metres before the finish line after looking like she would stroll to the win not long before.
  20. It was on Mt Panorama on the inside of the race track.
  21. Peter Bol's B sample came back negative. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-02-14/peter-bol-suspension-lifted-after-b-sample-tested/101970920
  22. Divine Oduduru is 'Athlete 2' in the Blessing Okagbare/Erik Lira doping case. AIU is seeking to ban him for six years.
  23. An article about WA rankings vs NCAA issue. https://trackandfieldnews.com/connecting-the-wa-usatf-ncaa-qualifying-disconnect/
  24. That was a monster score from Danielle Scott 🤯
  25. Seems it was for Ligandrol. He must have had very clear evidence of contamination for his ban to be reduced to only one year but I don't see anything like that mentioned in the news reports (for comparison Shayna Jack got two years). Also a bit strange that it's taken a year for this to be made public.
