    The first two races of this session were INSANE but especially the 200 free. The way Mollie split that race is just scary!

    The Australian women have been capable of an eye-popping WR like that for a number of years based on best times/splits but they were never all on form/executed at the same time.

    I was expecting an update on readmission of Russia to swimming during Worlds but the bureau meeting has already passed and it wasn't even discussed.

    This debacle wasn't caused by demands of international organisations/federations but mostly of the Victorian government's making. They could've hosted a budget concious Comm Games but instead chose this bloated and wasteful regional model instead. This was an entirely self-inflicted failure.
