  8. Isn't the World Cross Country Championships supposed to be on in odds years? The next two hosts are 2024, 2026. Anyone know why they changed?
  9. Seems like it would be more effective than EPO.
  10. Only decent chance of winning a medal in a different sport is probably football (women's) and a strong chance of a medal in a different event is the men's 800m free thanks to it being a new addition.
  11. So much for being a backup qualifying meet for the Olympics.
  12. Another 50+ Kenyans to be banned at the end of the month https://www.the-star.co.ke/sports/2023-11-13-expect-more-sanctions-says-adak-ceo/

  14. Oleksiak has basically become a part-time swimmer. I guess the Australian team won't be announced until January or maybe late December because the last selection meet (Queensland State Champs) is in mid December.
  15. Australia's flag bearers for the last three Summer Olympics all won medals.
  16. I found this (in Portuguese) which says it's a "safeguard" meet for Olympic selection but seems a bit strange to call it "Olympic Trials".
  17. He has no influence over the Gaba redevelopment because he's from the wrong level of government.
  18. I don't know but I would expect them to count pending WAQ allowing them to compete.
  19. What a warrior Sates is pulling off the 2IM/2Fly double at each leg.
  20. She's a bit unpredictable.
  21. I could be wrong because I'm just speculating but I think she's probably focussed on speed for this World Cup tour. Peaking in the 50 and 200 at the same time is extremely hard.
  22. It's nearly 3am here. Stayed up for the WR!
  23. Was easy after what she did last week and then the 50 yesterday made it pretty much certain.
  24. Siobhan might have something big for us tomorrow in the 100! She's also overdue for a breakthrough in the 200 with how many times she's gone 1:53 high/1:54 low.
  25. Perhaps another one in the 100 tomorrow
