Top 10 boats participate in medal and points earned are double the rank. For example a sailor finishing in 3rd earns 6 points. The sailor with least accumulated points wins

India are currently on quota winning position in 2 event with only few races left.

Ganemat came very close yesterday. At present is sure of Olympic quota but if she wins the quota at European qualifiers, it would go to . If Ganemat had gotten silver instead of Bronze, she would have been next in line to  instead of . 
 
We are eligible for ranking quota only in 25m Pistol Men, Skeet W and Trap M/W. Skeet was a narrow miss. In Trap Men, we have to win Gold and hope that  gets European quota, anything else is not good enough. In Trap Women, we have to overcome 350 point gap over  and hope that  wins the European quota. In 25m Pistol Men, there are only 15 entries, 4 of whom are not eligible. So, out of the remaining 11 shooters (x3, x2, x2, , ,  , ) the one who finishes highest will get the ranking quota. There is an additional quota on offer at European Championships, so the one finishing second also has a chance.

We qualify in Table tennis mixed doubles beating the world no 5 pair, this is huge.

Srikanth should make it along with Sai, Saina has almost no chance, in mixed doubles the current Indonesian pair at pos 8 needs to come down by a place or 2, that should put the Indian pair in the qualifying place, really don't care about women's doubles, Siki is below par it's a joke India is persisting with her for so long.

as usual the shooters impress ...... not sure what form they may be in after lockdown ..... but great scores at the ehooting trials ..... 2  world records broken by divyansh and elavanil ....... Saurabh and Manu did well at the 10m pistol ....better scores than the world champs .....   as usual they excite 

Big news coming through, 3 race walkers qualify for Olympics in 20 km 2 Male and 1 female, both NRs shattered, Sandeep Kumar, Rahul and Priyanka are the 3 athletes 

Tejaswin Shanker has broken the national record for Indoor Heptathlon. This was his first international Heptathlon event. He has the potential to become a decent Decathlete.

I agree 
 
1) fairly self evident that research into biological weapons is happening , 
 
2) This is a very recent science  , last 10 years or so that genome sequencing , splicing etc is possibly to weaponise viruses by changing  and mixing parts of them 
 
3)  accidents will happen ........ while obviously I cannot say with certainty that corona virus is a biologically designed weapon .... It is possible is all I will say .......

I shudder to think of the implications of this .... what if we ( humans !! ) in our hubris design a virus which is the  perfect weapon  ( very high morbidity  and extremely high R0 ) ........... we could kill all humankind  very easily .....................
 
 
This is also the most perfect  terrorist weapon
