  1. Hopefully they'll show that on TV here when they come out of commercial. At least he managed to stay upright and didn't get hurt, so that's a positive
  2. I'm usually good for 1 all-nighter per Olympics. This one is it. Here's what I'll be watching... 9pm - Women's Free Ski Big Air 10pm - Men's Super G (Snowboard Parallel GS on 2nd screen) 11pm - USA-Canada Women's Hockey 1am - Mixed Doubles Curling Bronze (Parallel GS on 2nd screen 3am - Cross-Country Sprint Qualification 3:30am - Men's biathlon 5:30am - Cross-Country sprints + Men's 1500m Speed Skating 7:00am - Mixed Doubles Curling gold 8:30am - Women's Luge 4th run Hope I can hold out for it all, gonna need a good nap this afternoon!
  3. I'm off to sleep now. I imagine Twitter will have any news since our alpine crew is now off the air
  4. Hector wins it. 3rd gold medal in these games already for Sweden
  5. Per US TV, O'Brien is alert and responsive. No other word on her injuries
  6. This is excruciating that they haven't moved her yet. Really hope this isn't as serious as it kinda feels like it might be
  7. And an even nastier crash by Nina O'Brien as she loses it going into the finish. She, OTOH, does not look okay.
  8. Nasty crash by Worley. Went straight through a gate. Thankfully, it looks like she's okay
  9. Already have our first crash. Probably won't be the last on that snow
  10. Damn!! Mikaela Shiffrin slipped about 10 seconds in and she's out. Unbelievable
  11. Vlhova looked shaky on her run. Probably didn't help being first to ski
  12. Lots of skiing for me tonight, I'll probably be locked into that tonight with curling and men's slopestyle on a 2nd screen. Not sure I'll have it in me to stay up for the women's 1500 in speed skating, but I'll definitely check that out in the morning when I wake up
  13. Wow, I didn't realize that was the case watching last night. Not like the women's race when they spent the entire time talking about Diggins.
  14. This is why I love the Olympics.. Woke up this morning and saw on the OBS news feed that Van der Poel had won. So I went back and watched the last pair fully knowing he was about to win. And that was still absolutely incredible to watch. What a comeback. American commentators couldn't believe it
