    Damn... as some of you know, I tend to listen to my TISC playlist during the competition. Holy shit, I miss Azerbaijan so much they've had quite a few of my favourite entries and sent so much interesting music.

    One thing I'd like to say that TISC really really loves newcomers and returnees. With Hungary climbing into fourth place, it would be interesting to see the statistics of how the scores implode during new participations or participations after a long return.

    I guess it's popular to hate stuff that is different. It's a big problem in Lithuanian music as well, a lot of styles not getting any attention and that is a huge blow to diversity in our music. Soul and R&B are pretty much non existant apart from some new younger artists starting this year.

    Yeah, I expected that the chorus might pull through here, hoping for a more eventful 2nd and 3rd leg, because right now I'm underperforming to my expectations and then I'll be angry with myself that I didn't send something that I really wanted, but knew it would finish 37th and haven't been sending it for three years now

    In all honesty, I did not expect The Netherlands song to do this well. Weirdly enough, songs belonging in a similar category were usually overlooked and not voted for. I guess that marrying the stats man does wonders.
