Reaction has been very bad and all athletes hate it.
It's specially bad cause there's a saying in Spain that's "vestir la roja", literally translate to "wear the red" that's use by everyone when talking about representing Spain in a international sporting event. I guess now we are "wearing the orange".... Watch out, .....

I thought of some different kind of changes when I saw the thread title:
 
The dependance on gambling ads in nearly all sports.
 
Stopping the decline of 'grassroots' club level sports
 
More sports on public TV instead of every sport isolating itself on its own pay per view platform like Volleyballtv and whatever other sports have created.

I’d love to see the Olympic champion in every event automatically get an invite to come back to the next Games to defend their title if they wish. Also would be cool if Olympic champions got to wear a different vest which they can wear throughout the cycle.
 
Making the Olympics a 3 week event would also be great
